I know this, I am sure, has been asked before, but,,,

In what 'island' order do the buses go at CBR ?

What if you wer going to MK, EPCOT, DHS, AK, or DTD ?
Do the busaes first pick up at Martinique and then heads towards Barbados or Trinidad ?

Does anyone know please ?

Thanks a bunch !

Unless they have changed it, there is no rhyme or reason to the order. It depends on where the bus is coming from, as to what entrance they enter CB, and what bus stop they stop at first.

There are about 4 bus entrances to the CB property, so for example if a bus coming from MK may enter a certain bus entrance, then stop at bus stop #4, then make the loop, then exit the property, then on to Animal Kingdom.

A bus coming from DTD, may enter the CB property from the opposite side, start at bus stop 8, then make the loop and then exit going to the Studios.

(This is a total random illustration, not an actual illustration, only for concept).

This was my experience a few times as a day visitor several years ago. Never stayed there before, and haven't visited in at least 3 years.

I guess they have changed because we found that there was a rhyme & reason. Buses always stopped at either Martinque or Jamaica first. If coming in through the main entrance, the order is Martinque, Old Port Royal, Trinidad North and South, Jamica, Aruba, Barbados, & exit. If coming in through the back entrance, Victory Way, it's Jamaica, Aruba, Barbados, Martinque, OPR, TS, TN, & exit. There are two entrances for external buses and 7 stops. The internal bus starts at where you check in and then makes the 7 stops starting at Martinque. If you're lucky and usually in the AM when it's busy, some buses only make either 3 or 4 stops & exit. Again starting at either Martinque or Jamaica.

New Englander basically has it right.

There are two sides to CBR, with stops in the following order:

A side: Martinique, Old Port Royale, and Trinidad North & South.

B side: Jamaica, Aruba, and Barbados.

The order of stops is determined by where the bus is going to, which is not always the same place it came from.

Usually, during the afternoon and evening, MK & DTD/TL buses do the A side and then the B side.

Epcot, DHS, and AK/BB buses usually do the B side and then the A side.

From about 1 hour before park opening until about 11 a.m., theme park buses usually do only one side.

But all of that can change based on load. The dispatcher can start a bus at any stop, or have it do all 7 stops instead of just one side.

This is the way it was this past January.

Thank you for your expertise.
We will request a preferred room in Martinique.
That way we will be either the 1st bus stop or the 4th bus stop. :goodvibes

Thanks again !

Actually there is a rhyme and reason and it has nothing to do with where the bus came from. It is actually based on where the bus is going. MK & DTD buses enter at the main entrance on BVD and go MAR/OPR/TN/TS/JAM/AR/BAR. AK, HS & EP buses enter at the auxillary gate on Victory and go JAM/AR/BAR/MAR/OPR/TN/TS.

These are the standard Disney established routes for CBR. They are split up this way for many reasons, some are: ease of access from the park the bus is coming from, providing the availability so that guests can travel anywhere internally and so that no one stop is always last. If all buses came in the main entrance, Barbados would always be last and you probably would not want to stay in a building near there.

Just like many other aspects of the Transportation system, which has evolved over the years to now provide excellent service for guests, there are variations on this, most of which occur during peak times. Some examples are: buses will be assigned to do only one "side" of CBR which are refered to as the "A" side (MAR/OPR/TN/TS) and the "B" side (JAM/AR/BAR). Also special floater buses are stationed, out of sight, at the CBR cast services building. These buses are dispatched directly to and begin there tour, at any of the 7 bus stops, if the previous bus gets filled up or if it is running a little late.

As my other distinguished colleagues have mentioned, CBR is split into two sides depending on where the bus is going.

Usually, the only time that a bus will do just one side is in the morning until 11am. Now, if a MK bus in the morning is dispatched to the B side, there will be another MK bus dispatched to the A side.

Thank you so much on giving us some bus advice.

I think we would pick CBR over CSR b/c of the preferred room location option and no fee at the CS at CBR like there is at CSR.

The quiet polls would be the same at CBR & CSR and the main pool we would only use about 3 times.

Thanks for the clarification folks. I apologize if my information was incorrect.

As I said, my experience was just my observance several years ago from some day visits.

I"ll also add, for those going to ESPN WWOS there is one route that picks up at POP and at CBR (Customs House)
