CBR Bus Route & Schedule

We are visiting the CBR soon and I keep hearing horror stories about the buses. Does anyone know if there is a typical bus route for the CBR? I heard that some buses begin at Jamaica Village while others begin at Martinique. Is there a way to find out which village a bus will stop at first and would you recommend boarding there to increase the chances of getting a seat? We are also hoping to get to the parks for rope drop so should we plan on arriving to the bus stop an hour early or more?

1. Not that I am aware of.
2. Not really. Which entrance the bus uses depends on where its coming from. They don't usually just go back and forth to the same park and resort all day.

1 and 2. Mum is right. Jamaica or Martinique are usually the first buses, depending on entrance to CBR.
3. The horror stories are sometimes inflated. Yes, during Christmas, the buses are packed. Spring Break as well. Every resort has issues during those 2 times.
4. At least an hour as Mum states. Usually about a 20 minutes ride to MK.

I read somewhere that they changed the bus routes so that there is a separate bus for each side, at least during the morning rush.
