Caution: SSR Phase II reservations

Called MS yesterday to make a ressie for Thanksgiving 2005 checking out on 11/27. Thanks to all I've learned on these boards I made sure to utilize my 11 month window to the day. MS could not find me in the computer by my member number, SS number or name. They transferred me to accounting and she told me I hadn't been recorded yet because the points were not available until March. I left a message for my guide who called me back and had MS on the line and they had to do a paper reservation. I just wanted to let folks know in the event that they may be looking forward to making a ressie for a busy time next year. I would call MS and see if they can bring you up in the system before you actually need to call. We joined DVC in September 04 and did 2 add-ons by mail in October. The thing that makes this even more perplexing is that I made a ressie in October for next August without a hitch and those points were not available until March either. Just wanted to save folks some trouble and can't wait for my first trip home in August at SSR.

Sorry to hear you had problems. I have Phase II points and have made and cancelled and re-made reservations both at SSR and other resorts already (and our use abilities don't begin until MArch, 2005)
