Part 2 - The Nick Hotel
We use the SR 417, the toll road, from the airport. There is hardly a car on the road!! Not that far off in the distance we can see fireworks. I check my watch, 9.06 .must be Illuminations
The hairs on the back of my neck stand up as I realise Im actually here!!!!
The kids are really excited with the prospect of staying in the Nick Hotel. On approach it looks very bright, even at night! Lots of orange and lime green!!!
We checked in room 1235, in building 10! The room was a fair size they called it a kids suite. The kids had bunks in one room and we had a king in the other room. Lots of TVs too!!!! There is a small area with a microwave, fridge and sink too
The kids are tired, but excited. Im fit for collapse when I realise the time in the UK is after 4am ..we had been on the go for 24 hours!! Were all in need of a wee drink, so we head to the lobby to the 24 hour store. We get the kids a drink of milk in a bid to be good parents, while I reach for the Mountain Dew!! Everywhere I look I see Spongebob Squarepants ..!!!!!AAAGggh
So back to the room, kids get a quick drink and its time for bed. The beds are comfortable and clean. We switch on the TV to check the weather but dont think I saw any weather .ZZZZZZZ
