Category 3 help

Well, my family and I are staying in cat 3 room # 8034 on Saturday. I am hoping that I am too tired/dopey from Dramamine to notice noise.

I so need this vacation. I keep saying to myself to calm down-not to get my expectations too high. That sounds odd, I know, but I tend to overdo everything-over-react, over-eat, over-indulge my kids-yada yada yada-so I am trying to keep things down-

sigh

So-we leave tomorrow-staying at the mco hyatt and then happy limo is picking us up saturday morning. I am getting all buzzy inside!!

Deep breaths-Deep breaths

Hi Dreamer,
I noticed your counter and your post, and I think I would be too excited to sleep at this point!:Pinkbounc Have a great time!

Thanks-it is hard to concetrate on anything at this point!

Do you think that people react to the noise based on where they live?

When we lived in a rural community and visited a city it was real hard to sleep at night as there was noise, noise, noise. When we lived closer to a city and near a major highway, we did not notice it after a while. When we lived near an airport, the first night I levitated out of the bed as the 10 pm flight came in for a landing. I thought it was going to touch down on the roof. After a couple days I did not even hear it.

Just a thought,
Jan :earsgirl:

I think you are correct. My cousin stayed with us one night and couldn't take it because it was too quiet! He lived on a main street in city that had street cars going by, and when he got to our house he couldn't sleep because there wasn't any noise. He was up at 4am looking out the window at a skunk......Those city kids.....

Count me in with your cousin! We live near JFK airport. Noise, galore! That with car alarms, emergency vehicles--etc-

I don't expect the noise to bother me, but I'll find out soon!!!!

Since I criticized 8032, I should also say something good. The layout of these "larger" Cat. 3s is terrific. They are not as deep as the others but they are wider. I would say that the living room in the suite was twice as wide as the other Cat. 3s (judging from the number of windows), so the sitting area and the dining area were both by windows. I think that the dining area in the other layout is more in the interior of the suite. It's nice to be able to have the table by the window. Also, since the cabin is wider, the verandah is probably 50% longer than in the other layout. It was huge. Except for the noise, it was a wonderful suite.
