Cat people.....a question

I am not and have never been a cat person so I would like to know this. I was just outside on the deck and heard a cat conversation. What is up with that? Was he wooing her? or are they just chatting?

One of them could have been in heat or just chatting. My siamese just loves to talk in the mornings and evenings for no good reason. I love to hear the meows different cats have.

Depends on the "tone" of the conversation.

They could be gearing up for a fight if one of the cats is invading the other cat's territory.

They can make an awful noise when they are squaring off.

could be almost anything.

I have 2 cats and they chat all the time to each other and to us.

I think its great unless theyre fighting then I spray them with a water bottle LOL
