Castaway Club Cards

Has anyone had good luck getting their CC cards?

We were on the Wonder in Feb and still no sign of anything.

Someone I work with got his after a month.....

We were on The Magic in Nov.'03 and never received ours either. I called about it and the CM gave me our member numbers. Still never received any cards.

We were on the Wonder in January. I called in April and got our number and a promise of cards by the end of that month. I called in June, and was promised cards by the end of that month. Still not having them, I called this week, and they solemnly promised I'd have them before the end of this month.

We'll see, but it looks like the luck of the draw if you'll ever get anything. Calling doesn't seem to accomplish anything other than a very nice but empty promise. From what I've read here, though, it doesn't seem to matter anyway because I'm not sure what I'd do with the cards once I had them!

I have never rec'd a card. I just keep my number handy to use when I book. Does anyone out there have a card?

We cruised twice in the past 10 months...never received cards.

When I called DCL and asked..they said they don't send them anymore..lol. Then I see all the posts on this board about people receiving them.

Either way..I just keep my number handy. Don't need another card in my wallet..lol.

Yes - we received our card about 6-8 weeks following our April 15 cruise this yr. I had called after a month and was told it can take a few months. It came attached to a thank you letter for taking the cruise. It was in my DH name, as he was listed as head of our group I guess - but guess who did all the resaeach, planning, booking, packing for that trip??!!!!! It also included referral cards to give to friends/family, which gives them a $50.00 on board credit and DCL video. everything came in a large, colorful Castaway Club envelope. Odd that not everyone receives this.

Our very first cruise was in 2001 on the Magic and all we received was a letter and a Castaway Cay Club photo frame magnet. Of course, our CCC number was on the letter, but no card. And to this date, still no card. However, I have kept the letter and refer to the CCC number each time we book. I would love to get a card of some sort. It would surely be easier than keeping track of that darn letter!!

We cruised in 2002. No card, nothing from DCL. I never received my number from them either. I've emailed them and phoned them asking for my number. For some reason or another, I never got it Finally, we went to a TA to start booking our 2005 cruise. She was able to get my CC #!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It exists, but no, I never received one thing from DCL regarding future cruises.

Hello,

We cruised in May of '02, and received our CC cards shortly thereafter. We are looking forward to our "gift" on our next cruise, this December.

Even if u Do not recieve your Card u are still in the system just inform them when u make next reservation ..

we sailed in july 03 and got our castaway club card in late august. i dont think they are giving cards anymore. just get the castaway club # and keep it in a safe place. DCL i think looks to see if you are a member nor not.

We sailed in January of '03 on the Wonder and did receive our CC cards about 6 to 8 weeks after that. Of course my name was completely misspelled, but at least I have the card.

From what I've heard DCL hasn't ever been very consistent with the CC cards. We received ours, but our first cruise was in May 2000, so they were still pretty new then. Mine is actually pretty worn out now.... But they do have you in their system as a CC member if you have already cruised.

Sailed in January of this year and received ours by March. about 6 weeks or so.

We first cruised in Sept of 00. I read on their website when we got back that we should have received a packet with information on the CC. We never got anything so six months later I called and got my number. They also sent out a packet with a magnet frame and a survey that stated I would receive a free gift if I sent the survey back. I sent the survey back but never received the gift. Oh well. I have cruised twice since then and am booked on the repo cruise.

Card...we don't need no stinkin card

We sailed on the June 20th Wonder and we got our cards 2 weeks ago!
