Castaway Cay 5K

Does anyone know if there are limited number of people allowed to run the 5K at Castaway Cay? This will be our first Disney Cruise in June and we would like to participate in the 5K just so we can say we did it. I know you have to sign up once on board, but does it fill up? Just want to make sure we arrive early for boarding if it does.

I don't know if there is a limit but don't worry about it! Last year my husband and friend did it together and I'm pretty sure they registered half way through the cruise only (my husband wasn't entirely sure if he wanted to wake up so early) and had no problem signing up.

It can fill but it's not one of the things for which you have to board early and do immediately.
