I have a few favs from my days in attractions and merchandise. When I was in Tomorrowland. a lady came up to me and asked the following:
Lady: Where are the rides?
Me: Uhh...which ride are you looking for?
Lady: You know...the rides
Me: They're all over the place...
I've had people ask me if the TTA (aka people mover) was a coaster, also if it goes around the whole park.
Once, someone asked me where the ET ride was, and without thinking, I directed her to Extra Terrestrial Alien Encounter!
Oh...one of my favorite stories...I was working the Enchanted Tiki Room during Night of Joy. The show had just ended, the exit doors were wide open, and all the birds were making noises and moving around to the exit music. A young teenage boy walked in through the exit doors, stood in the middle of the now empty floor, stared up at all the birds, and asked "Is this a bar?"
Diznygirl, your DH is a greeter? So is my boyfriend! And I'm a performer.
Oh, Pooh was asked the other day if he voted- he replyed he was too young. hehe. (he pointed to himself then used his hand to indicate short.)
It's amazing how long it takes some guests to figure out that King Louie can't sign. People will put pen and books into his big, stiff hands and just wait expectantly, even when he repeatedly drops them. It's too funny. Then, of course, Pooh bear who *does* sign gets asked all the time if he is able to. hehehe
