Cast Member ticket discount? My dd was lucky enough to get a job at the disney store near us. I am planning a trip this year and want to finalize my budget but cannot find out how much her discount will be on tickets. The hub says "dependents" are allowed in on her main gait pass, but I am not sure if she gets any free tix for other's. She is waiting on her "blue magic pass". Does any current cm know what kind of ticket perk she receives for non-dependent's? Thanks!:thumbsup2

That's probably not something that current CMs are free to discuss openly on a public forum. Can't your daughter ask someone at work?

Had a friend that was in management at Disney and the discounts were substantial especially at certain times of the year, like free or discounted tix, free stroller rentals, free admission to the clubs (when Disney had clubs at PI) but the biggest discount was on the cruises.... we once went on a 7 day for 1600 total including all of the fees AND tips for 2 adults/2 kids. Friend no longer at the store those were the days............

DS works at the Disney Store and I don't think he gets a discount on tickets. He gets 2 free one day tickets twice a year. He is only part time so I think full time people get more. He does get great discounts on the cruise but it's not all cruises and usually the discounts don't come up until 2-3 months before the cruise. I think he can get the 14 day Panama Canal for $45 per person per day.

as marionette said, CMs are not supposed to discuss benefits publicly, especially on a website. standard answer should be "they treat us well", over & over again ;)

she can ask someone at work, or simply go on the Hub (CM website) - fyi, Dstore CM benfits/discounts are different from park/florida based CMs'.

hth:)

I did a good search of these boards and was able to find my answer. Love these boards!! Thanks!:thumbsup2

TDS CMs get little in the way of pass discounts unless they are management.

In many other ways, "we get treated very well". :goodvibes

Don't forget that benefits have changed over the years too. Last I knew from a friend at Disney store they did not get the same benefits as those working at the parks for Disney. She simply got some one day passes in the way of tickets.

I'm not sure Disney Store employees get any discounts at the parks anymore as the Disney Store's aren't even owned by Disney.
