Why on earth would you feel bad for a thief???? If he did steal the phone he should get what he deserves and more.

Sorry I agree to disagree. People steal every day. Nothing new, sure bad, but looking at his Facebook is kinda stalkerish since he isn't the one that put it out there.

Prove Nelson took the phone! Prove he even has it! All I know from the posted pictures is that he was in front of the camera as somebody else took pictures.

DCL will not say who did it, and if I see Nelson on the Wonder next month I will assume it was not him, because the perp was supposedly fired.

I feel that even if the phone was lost and "laying around" every effort should have been made to return it either to the owner or a lost and found of some sort. (NOT play with it and take your own pictures)

My daughter found a iphone on the ground in Epcot at 11 pm during Magic Hours. We immediately took it to the nearest concession that was open to let them know we found the phone.

On another occasion we were in Clearwater visiting Winter the Dolphin and she found a Droid smart phone sitting on the trash can in the restroom. We did the same thing - we found someone who worked there to return it.

I now have to wonder if either of these phones made it back to their owners..:confused3I would love to think that the employees we returned the phone to did the right thing.

The last I heard, the alleged thief was placed on administrative leave.

If people are concerned about strangers looking through their friends or other info on facebook they have privacy settings you can apply to prevent it. Always assume people are going to be curious if you become the topic of news discussions.

:thumbsup2 Exactly what I was thinking.

If you have your FB set to public that means you either don't care who sees it or you want people to see it. FB gives the user control over what people see. How can you compare looking at a website to stealing? :confused3 There is no connection.

This thread has run it course and then some. The DIS is not the place to try and convict a person. This board is for planning and talking about your Disney Cruise.

The last thing to be said on the matter is watch your things, even at Disney. Good people and bad people are everywhere.
