We were at MK on 2/23 and in line for Dumbo I noticed a castmember in a plaid vest in line with a Mom, her three young kids (maybe 5,4, & 2 years old), and someone else that might have been Mom's sister. The castmember was at times holding the kids and went on the ride with them. Then I saw them on the Carousel. I didn't recognize any of the family and I so wanted to just ask are you famous? Anyone know why the castmember would have been escorting this family around? He seemed happy to be riding with them.

the cast member in the plaid vest was a tour guide. the family booked the guide for a private tour of the park: price is $85/hr for this service, minimum four hours.
When the guest is on a ride, usually the tour guide will go for fastpasses for the group, or "babysit youngsters in the group".

What's funny is, in many cases, I would have said the same thing. You said the same thing most do, but I happen to know someone who is famous and when we go out sometimes people know they are famous but dont remember the name and they come up and ask "are you famous". FAMOUS people just HATE THAT!

Then again its just payback because when we go to dinner with this person and someone asks for an autograph, he says "please wait until I'm finished". I just think it's rude, even though he's eating because that's what you get when you are famous.

ok now you have to tell us who the famous person you know is! lol

(ohhhhh hush everyone. you KNOW you are dying to know)

Well it's someone that many of the young people on this site, due to their age will never have heard of. It's actually two of them, and they are the EXACT same way. In fact most on here even my age will have no clue of who they are but I know them because I've known them like fathers since I was a little boy.

The two are former wrestlers Nikita Koloff (The Russian nightmare) and the former wrestler Sting.

My family met Sting and got to know him through Nikita. My father is Nikita's agent and I have known him like a father for years on years. He's taken us all over the country with him for events and given us backstage access. Dont worry, we're not one of those families that are wrestling junkies. In fact both Sting and Nikita hate wrestling today and where it's gone. they both said it went from pretty clean entertainment to a soap opera. Both are great great men and hold their values close to their hearts.

Nikita has a child who is my parent's god child. In fact, CLICK HERE TO SEE PICTURE to see a picture of (left to right), Nikita's daughter, myself, his wife Victoria, my dad, and his youngest daughter Kolby. His two other daughters Tawny and Terrin are not pictures. NIkita is taking the picture.

This is when we went with Nikita and his family on a vaction to Malibu. It was a business trip for NIkita who was meeting with a former Oakland Raiders player who took us to dinner in Malibu and treated us all to a magnificent meal at Duke's of Malibu, the sea side restraunt.

Anyways, back to the point, Nikita has a problem giving autographs at meals. My mom really gets on him about his manners with people. He has improved over the years, and is truly one of the best men I've ever met in my life.

If you need refreshing of who he is (though some of you 25 or younger may not know regardless:

Here are pictures from his site:

I don't think he is being rude to ask people to wait until he is finished his meal. I think the people who would interupt his dinner are being rude. It is very nice of him to be willing to give autographs after he has eaten.

Many times the people that the plaid vests are escorting may not be famous, but rather wealthy people such as the family's of wealthy businessmen or things like that. There are many, many people wealthy enough to afford a private tour that we have never heard of.

Also, the tour guide could be escorting a nanny and a famous persons children, so again, you wouldn't be able to tell.

We had dinner at Chef Mickey's once and they had a room roped off and our waitress told us it was Ralph Lauren and his family. We would never have known who it was if she wouldn't have told us because they didn't look "famous".
