cash rates at ssr

Has anyone been quoted a cash rate at SSR recently. I don't think I can wait until MS opens up from the 4th to start making plans.

I have a conference at CSR the week after T'day until 12-3-06. I got a deal on 2 rooms for 252 a night total. (126pernightperroom)

If I could get close to 252 a night with our member cash rate, I might would rather stay at SSR or OKW and have a 2bd. That way I really have an extra room. (the living room)

I cant use points because companies do not pay us back for our points.

I don't think there is anyway a 2 bedroom unit would come close to $252 per night, considering rack rate for a studio is nearly $300.

I don't know, I did get a cash rate at HHI 2 years ago for 159 per night for a 2bd. It was last minute and a not so busy time. I had run out of points but needed a quick trip.

I am staying at SSR in a 2 bedroom for one night on July 23rd, cash discount 25% am paying 375.00 does not include tax.

I was quoted $201 plus tax for a studio in early December at SSR

Wow, the cash rates have really gone up over the years. We used to get 99 per night for a 2bed at HHI and 150-175 for a 2 bed at VWL or OKW. We purchased in '99 when they no longer had this deal. This makes our investment into prepaid vacations a real deal. I average 10 nights of point stays a year. The 44 years I have points gives me 440 night stays. That divided for what I paid comes to $28 per night! I don't know how to figure Maint. cost in there, but I may guess at around $100 per night. SO we are at 128 right now and the rate online for non-members for 11/26-12/6 at SSR is around 560.00.

I am not the best at math, so if these figures don't add up, I won't be offended if you offer any correction.
