Cash Bar at reception?

I don't know if Disney will allow this but I've heard of people having the bar open for the first, say 2 hours, of the reception. After that it could be come a cash bar or you could stop serving alcohol completely at that point. That way, if you choose to do bill on consumption, the bill won't be ridiculously high and people still get the option to have a drink with their dinner.
