Casey Corner's Hotdogs (MK)

We LOVE Casey's. From the great hot dogs to the spicy relish to the black and white Disney cartoons to the piano player who is always willing to play my favorite ragtime song, Maple Leaf Rag. We always stop in and have a dog for lunch. I just wish they would repair the circa 1965 baseball arcade game that is located in the corner of the bleacher area. My two sons would always play it a few times ( brought me back to my childhood) but the past few times we have been to Casey's it was not working. Somebody please repair it!!!!!

I'm not the biggest fan of hot dogs, but I sure love the location! And my cat's name is Casey, so when we get home, we tell him we checked out "his" place on Main Street! ;)

I love Casey's. I already told my fiance` that I'm making a few stops there while we're on our Disneymoon in July. She's not excited about this, as she doesn't eat meat other than turkey and chicken. She promised she'll keep her comments to herself.

What type of Hot Dogs? More with a crunch? Similar to Nathan's in NYC or like BallPark brand hot dogs? My DS loves hot dogs so we will sure to hit Casey Corner's.

I love Casey's hot dogs ! I always load em' up with all my favorite fixins and then it gets all sloppy and messy but gosh I love them anyway !:rotfl: And their fries are really good too.

Blessed Be,
Tina

Yep!!!!! We love Casey's too!!! Have to eat there every trip! A few years ago I was buying Disney Holiday houses and we came upon Casey's so now we light up Casey's every Christmas :)

Casey's is a must do for every trip. In fact we never eat anywhere else inside the MK - that is how much we love it. We've sat twice at the tables outside and watched Wishes - that is just awesome. Good food, no one in front of you and Wishes. LOVE IT!

Maybe I'd better try Casey's again next trip. After reading all of the posts here, I tried it last trip and thought, "What's all the fuss about?" It was a pretty good hot dog, but not out of this world, IMO. (And I realllly like hot dogs!)

Maybe I hit it on a bad day? Is there anything special to order, to make it so good?? Tell me what I'm missing!!

#1 on my list with Pecos Bill being second and Harbour House being 3rd!

If you're on the dining plan, does it include just a hot dog or a hot dog and fries for your entree? Thanks!

I'm a little surprised that no one's mentioned the fact that Casey's has done away with the small hot dog and only offers the quarter pounder now. Personally, I always loved the smaller hot dog. And the fries used to come in a cup, which they don't anymore. Has anyone been there lately that can verify that the cheese sauce is still there? I know the cheese sauce has been removed from Pecos Bills as we ate there a couple of weeks ago. If they ever get rid of the great piano player I'll have to find a new favorite restaurant!

We have a special place in our disney-luvin'-hearts for Casey's. When we had our honeymoon there almost 8 years ago, we arrived at our crappy Orlando hotel and took a pricey cab ride to MK at around 7:30 just so we could see the fireworks our first night. Money was very tight then. We had just graduated college and gotten married and DH was starting work 2 days after we returned. So after stressing about our hotel and then buying our expensive hotdogs and fries at Casey's, we sat on the curb and DH said to me, "Let's not worry about the money right now. We are on our honeymoon and we have the rest of our lives to worry about money." So we smiled and ate the best darn hotdogs we had ever had. We even took pictures of each other eating our meal. Casey's will always be the memory of living in the moment and enjoying what you have when you have it.

We now make it a point to go there with our kids. Those hot dogs are still the best!

The cheese sauce is alive and well, my friend. We were there two weeks ago from today, actually, and they had it.

It had been years since I've had a hot dog at MK, but I find myself enjoying CS much more in recent years. DH & I each had a hot dog before we left MK for the day our last trip, which was to serve as dinner for us. Outstanding! And, yes, huge! This would be way too big as a snack for us. Worked perfect as a mobile -- well, somewhat mobile -- meal on the way out of the park.

Count me in, what is better than a hot dog with fries....in WDW!
