This might be a stupid question, but why was Casey using a gas can to fill her car with gas? Why not just go to the gas station!?

Baffled. I've never used a gas can to put gas in my car. I can see if your car ran out of gas ... but it sounds like she used the gas can on a regular basis.

I wonder if she was going to burn Caylee's body so it would never turn up?

She seemed to run out of gas all the time. At one point, she commented to a friend/BF that her gas gauge must be broken but once the car was impounded, they found it worked fine. I have run out of gas exactly once in my life when I was much younger and I made sure to never do that again. How one runs out of gas multiple times a month is beyond me.

Duct tape isn't rocket science. High schoolers make prom dresses out of them every year. Casey was plenty capable to use duct tape. No different than any other tape except it's strength and versatility. If that was what Baez was trying to do...kind of pathetic as googling how to use a shovel.

See? It doesn't take long to shoot down a defense theory.

GA kept gas in those cans for yard work. Free gas for Casey.

TL already testified that they took them and filled her car with them.

Casey was flipping through the suicide note...no reaction. This, after seeing her father break down on the stand. Heartless. Are we supposed to believe that this woman LOVED her daughter and couldn't have killed her? For whatever reason, she's disconnected from emotion (none of which is an excuse for MURDER). Of course she could murder her daughter.

I had a friend in college that always seemed to have to go to the bathroom whenever the check came so she could get a free meal. Maybe this is the same thing. Free gas.

If Casey did not have an income, I could see her running out of gas all the time, because she would not have money to put in the tank. She would try to go as far as she could with the gas she had.

Trust me, this is the life I was living when gas was hitting the $4 mark. I would wait until I absolutely had to put gas in, because I didn't have the $85 to fill up.
