No, no need for them to have a list. Sounds about right. They need to be told something, and that statement sounds matter-of-fact and impartial sounding, not blaming either side.Someone on InSession said that there may have been an issue about the next witness's deposition too.

You know this sounds like Judge Perry may need to take over the reading of those depos. The defense team is grasping at anything. But this is a costly thing to do to yourself and your client. Well this may free up Perrys day for wednesday. Might as well get it done today instead of wed. I would love to be a fly on the wall.

I saw when Perry gave both sides a "talkin'-to" about the "game playing" going on and then court went to recess til 10:30.

So when it started back up, Baez was asked to call his first witness and he didn't have anyone? Or did Rodriguez testify and then they had no one else to call? How does that happen?!

Well that depends, if Baez has to open the check book maybe not. The excuse is the check is in the mail, no funds as it is state paid, Baez no pay.

We don't really know what happened. It was just an InSession commentator wondering if there was some issue with the next witness's deposition.

They never came back after the recess. Went into the judge's chambers about 3 times. Next thing you know, recess till 9 AM tomorrow.

Now I don't know what I'm going to do tonight at work. I have this recorded to watch the testimony, as it's just interesting enough to keep me awake. The commentators just ain't gonna cut it.

I don't have much faith in her ability to find guilt or innocence based on the evidence and testimony. I think she says she can't judge, but I think it means something different to her.

I wonder if the juty gets the trial by July 4th if the cruise juror would be excused and an alternate would take over for deliberations.

I wonder if the court reporter was in the jury room because they were being asked if they would mind coming in on Sunday to replace today, or some other scheduling thing? I mean what else could it be?

The only way there will be a mistrial is if they can't get a unanimous verdict, and I find that VERY unlikely. Juror #4 isn't strong enough to hold out against 11 others, even if she vascillates (and if she refuses to vote, Perry will replace her with an alternate who will)...
