Watching HLN - Mike Brooks speculating jurors will be upset, maybe wondering what the heck is happening w/ the defense's case - I did not see the prosecutions case, has all of the drama/issues happened during the defense laying out their case?

Is the commentary that all of you are talking about on HLN or an Orlando local channel? I am praying it is HLN so I can watch it tomorrow.

If it is a plea deal is it because ICA grew a heart today and didn't want her parents and brother to fall on the sword anymore. After yesterday's disgusting performance, maybe a sick desire in ICA got fulfilled. She saw that everyone loved her more then Caylee. I just wish that someone in that family would give a darn about Caylee.

and now she has not 1 question as to why a baby who is supposed to be born sometime in sept comes at least 6 weeks early, weighs what a full term baby would, doesn't spend any tiem in the NICU, and looks like a full term baby???


this baby is only 3 or 4 weeks early and is still just over 5 lbs - how much was caylee - unless she was tiny there should be NO WAY a friggen nurse of all people should believe that she was just a premee baby.

this entire family really do think everyone is stupid or believe their crappy lies

My friend had her son at 35 weeks and he was under 4 1/2 lbs and had to spend 24 hours on oxygen. I was born at 37 weeks and was just over 5 1/2 lbs (homebirth, no breathing issues).

I absolutely think the "preemie" thing was a ploy for attention by attention wh@&# Casey.

Okay, suspense is killing me.

In the Barry Bonds perjury trial, the judge asked for a plea bargain. But I found this:

LKB has her fingers crossed for a mistrial. Her words are beyond obvious this morning, and she is so quick to point the finger at the state. I really can't stand that woman!

They're all heading to Cheney Mason's Office...why would they all get together like that. If it's a legal matter, it would be argued in court, not one of the attorney's offices. I smell a plea deal!

I would imagine they're always working on this case, nights and weekends, away from the courtroom.

Two things about Linda Kenney Baden (just TWO?!) today (so far...I'm still watching HLN)...1) she's still referring to Rodriguez as the co-founder of the Body Farm. We've established he isn't, right? And 2) THERE IS NO SUCH WORD AS "IRREGARDLESS" LKB! Geez! So much for "educated."

Adding: I hate all this speculation! I am getting sick over the hints of mistrial and will they be able to retry the case. Swear to god, if Casey gets off because of mistrial for some stupid reason (ie: guy not being co-founder of Body Farm), I'm moving to Switzerland!

After JBP announced the recess, I noticed Baez giving some dirty looks towards the prosecutors.

They're going back and forth on HLN about whether or not Casey was or was not crying in the courtroom before the big private meeting with the attorneys and the judge.

IDK, I can't see a plea deal. I believe the defense believes they have introduced reasonable doubt, at least enough that the state won't give them a better deal than they can get from the jury. I certainly don't see the state offering manslaughter.

Perry off the case? Bias? No way, don't see it.

What could happen that would require a whole day? Another full day?

I think the news stations are just bored today and don't have enough material to cover since they thought they would be airing a trial today. Therefore, they are grasping at all kinds of straws with plea deals, mistrials, etc. Maybe something really is going on but I am inclined to think this is simply a matter of another potential witness that needs deposed. I think he may be a replacement for Rodriguez since his testimony won't be heard. But what the heck do I know?

HLN keeps saying that if it was just a problem with Rodriguez, then they would have called the other witnesses that were already there. They are thinking it is something big. Someone posted that they were all going over to Mason's office. Is it just the defense team or are the state attorneys going also?
