Well dang it, I have been so busy this past week and have missed most of the trial. So today, I find stuff for DH and kids to do away from home so I can watch in peace and quiet. They leave and then MIL calls. I come back and they have recessed for the day!

A picture of Caylee opening the sliding glass door! Is it fake and not even Caylee? That seems to be at least one of the problems. Jean Casarez wonders why anyone would snap a picture like that in the first place. Exactly! It's like on America's Funniest Home Videos. Some things you know are staged - such as why would anyone video a person putting books on a shelf, which, voila, comes crashing down. Please, please, please let it be discovered to be a fake picture!

Yeah - I saw that this morning. It could very well be another kid in Caylee's dress and sneakers. Would it surprise you if the Anthony's went that far to make themselves look innocent? We know their history of lying and changing their testimony and Cindy's "memory" meds.

I don't know how they could tell it's a fake photo, though.

That picture gave me pause yesterday. I wondered if Caylee had that big of a growth spurt?! It does not look like a toddler.

Baez can find or buy himself an expert witness! Strange goings on.

The ONLY thing they can do is determine height based on the skeletal remains (which, I'm sure they have measurements and could figure out) and measure how tall that child in the photo was compared to the sliding glass door.

I agree -- I thought the girl in the photo looked bigger than a toddler.

So, are they NOW going to claim that the kid opened the sliding glass door herself, walked to the pool, climbed the ladder and drown?????

I keep thinking about Lee testifying that his parents told him to "drop it" about Casey's pregnancy. I don't think they were referring to the pregnancy itself but probably about who the Father was. If Lee and Casey were as close as they said, I could see Lee being upset that baby daddy ws not part of it. Maybe to the point of him saying he was going to beat him up or something for not helping out.

They are reporting that George was very emotional in court this morning. Cindy was talking to an unknown male in the court room and George was sitting there and started to break down to the point that he had to leave the courtroom. In addition, Casey seemed to be wiping away a few "tears" and blowing her nose a bit this morning. Obviously nothing exciting happened in court today so it must have been something else. Just another odd day at the circus.

Yes, i was stuck on that picture too but thought it was b/c I really liked the cute hippie style dress paired w/ the trail sneakers, just seemed different than the standard target clothing - were those in Caylees room (or wherever tot mom let her sleep?)
Also what I dont get is these are photographs - time standing still - not videos in action - people generally pose for photos, its a photo of her standing on a ladder step, not necessarily climbing it herself in action like a video would portray, or her hand on a door, not necessarily a video showing her actually opening that door....and we have seen videos of this child in the pool area, but not near the ladder...

today must have been a "bombshell" to have JBP dismiss jury for the day and waste a whole day of their lives sequestered for nothing...

My big brother still thinks his niece and nephew got here by immaculate conception It's a good thing he likes my husband. There is no way I could have shown up single and pregnant and not have my brother flip his lid. I figure that's where Lee was going with his testimony.

Regarding Lee's body language and crying. I think Lee's tears were real ... but not because he was upset about Caylee's death or Casey and Cindy not letting him in on the pregnancy or because he was an absent uncle in the beginning. His tears were for himself ... release due to stress and pressure (and maybe fear of repercussion) from the family and/or attorneys. I really think that he was more upset he'd say something he shouldn't say.

I'm not buying that the tears were because of remorse for being an absent uncle or because of not being part of the pregnancy or going to the hospital.

Didn't she pin the pregnancy on Jesse Grund? When was it she told Jesse he was the father...while pregnant, after the birth, a few months later, etc. When did Jesse enter the picture as the baby daddy? Was that who she told her family was the father (at that time, until proven otherwise). They did get engaged, until the DNA proved he was not the father.

Interesting!!! I would love to know what went on behind those closed doors. There's loads of speculation from HLN and among the latest:

1. Witness tampering
2. Some discovery violation
3. Disclosure issues
4. Plea deal
5. Ineffective assistance of counsel
6. Mistrial

Too bad ICA never went on the Maury Povitch BabyDaddy Paternity Show! She could've gotten a long stretch of tv time off of that alone! I can see it now "I slept with 50 men, which one is my BabyDaddy?" and, after going through all 50, not one of them was a positive DNA match! But Maury would tell ICA that it was ok and they'd still keep looking ...
