I definitely don't think Casey drugged Caylee regularly. But it has been said (by friends?) that Caylee could sleep through a party. Also, that Casey had problems getting Caylee to sleep. I wouldn't be surprised if Casey gave her "a little bit" of Xanax to help Caylee relax enough to go to sleep. She didn't need to be "drugged" per se. I think that's where Zanny the Nanny comes in. Cindy claimed it was about 1 1/2 years that Casey talked about Zanny (or was she getting that number from Casey after Caylee went missing?). Caylee was almost 3. So she would have been about 18 months old...that can be a tough age to deal with. And I honestly think that all those smiling pictures of Casey and Caylee are the easy, fun times of having a little buddy around. George and Cindy did the brunt of the childcare and child raising, but they weren't around 24/7. I think when it came down to it, and Casey needed to actually deal with Caylee, it wasn't easy.

I would really like to know the answer to this. At one point, I remember the family saying that Casey talked about the nanny (long before Caylee disappeared) but they didn't have any info on her including her name or phone number. I remember the commentators disputing how normal it was for grandparents not to have any info on the nanny. I would really like to know if Cindy, George, or Lee really ever heard the name Zanny before Caylee disappeared.

How weird that Casey makes up this name of Zanny almost two years earlier (maybe associated with the Xanex) and the day after her daughter disappears, a woman with the name Zanny fills out paperwork at an apartment complex that Casey is at. How bizarre!

If I were the prosecution, I would list every specific act that would have to occur in order to have the end result (Dead chilkd in woods)

Then I would write out which people could have performed said task. The person(s) who can do them all are your suspects. The one with no real alibi is your killer.

I think Casey is the only person who ccould have done them all.

Jean Casarez just talked about the heart shaped sticker and saying that we haven't heard testimony about it yet. Nothing about the presence or absence of it tho. And they showed a red heart on "something".

Whether or not it comes into evidence, "we" know there's a heart sticker. So I think (FWIW...not much? lol) that Caylee was killed in the house, and that's when the sticker was placed on the duct tape and Caylee was scooped up with the blanket to move to the playhouse in the back temporarily, till Casey could decide what to do next.

Casey had been talking about Zanny (which I am convinced was really Xanny) for 1 1/2 years. Zanny never had a full name until after Caylee disappeared. The woman who filled out the paperwork was named Zenaida, and I think that Casey saw it and thought it sounded like a plausible full name for her already fictional Zanny.

As an expectant Grandmother I have to say that if MY DD was leaving her child with a nanny that she claims was the nanny for a good friend, I'm not so sure I'd insist on meeting her. My parents never went to the daycare oldest DD went to a couple days/week. We all know how Casey can spin a tale, but I'm sure she was pretty convincing. And always seemed to be willing to have her parents meet some of the people she talked about and then "something" would happen. I don't know...hindsight is 20/20.

But it's definitely weird about Zenaida Gonzalez entering the picture. And they still don't know HOW she would have seen that card Zenaida filled out.

Another thing, why would her mom and dad try to frame her for an accidental drowning?

That's really what the defense is going to try and prove...based on what they are objecting to during the prosecution case

I don't think they can do that until closing arguments, as it is basically a theory based upon the facts presented, but it would be a very strong closing argument. Hope they take that tack, or something similar.

Interesting...from Dr Casey Jordan (who is a commentator for this case on InSession) posted this on FB:

Stickers make me ill. I keep going over things Casey might have said to Caylee. You can convince a 2 1/2 year old of many things if you give them stickers.
