Casey Anthony TRIAL thread #2

Earlier in the proceedings, it was stated that the witnesses would be questioned chronologically, following the timeline of events as they happened. Any idea why Roy Kronk hasn't been questioned yet? :confused3

i still think that's extreamly excessive.

how stupid do you have to be that once you find out how to make it you don't print off a copy to have???

or at least save the link to return to it but why do a new search 80 plus times? doesn't make sense.

If she had it in a separate tab, and she has her browser set to save the tabs and reopen every time she opens the browser, that page could have reloaded many times without her actually looking at it.

Yesterday there were pics of the hairmat and her entire skeleton up on the website. They removed them fairly quickly. When I seen them I was like "Oh carp!" so I saved them.

Did you already post a link?

And I know it was a typo but....

If you want more info, you can search the thread for "Kronk". But basically...it looks like Kronk won't be called by the state. He's a controversial figure, and per commentators, the prosecutors don't want to take away from the intensity of their case, especially at this point (bones being found, condition of bones/area/etc, expert testimony), by giving the defense the opportunity to make it all about Kronk. Prosecutors want to keep the focus on their own case right now. Kronk will come into the picture when the defense calls him.

Excellent way to put it!

So what you're saying is that trash is the new recycling

i was just going to say that - because here we have grey garbage bins and blue recycle bins. no "trash" bins.

i can't say i know anyone that calls paper and the likes - trash.

it's either garbage or recycle.

OHHHHHHHH that's a good point - i wonder if they make a difference between a search ie in google typing out how do you make..... how can i get.... as different to opening the page every time you load explorer or whatever browser she uses.

i took it as seperate actual searches for the same topic

I don't agree. :) I DO think Xanax fits into the equation at some point in Caylee's life. But I don't think it was a lot...certainly not enough to build up a tolerance...she'd have to be drugged A LOT and that would be noticed by other people. I don't think Caylee was ever put in the car trunk alive...just too hot. There was decomposition in the car, not necessarily a live body. I just think people keep trying to place Caylee in the trunk of the car at the wrong time. Also, the duct tape probably was NOT to keep her quiet...if so, it would have been placed just on her face, not around her hair. As the experts have said...that tape was put on with the intention of NOT taking it off.

I really was hoping the evidence would be consistent with an accidental death of some sort by Casey (not drowning, obviously) but after Dr G. yesterday I have no doubt it was intentional. Beyond all reasonable doubt.

I have a theory on what happened to this little girl. Lets ee if anyone agrees or disagrees with me.

Ok, I think that Casey was giving Caylee xanax so she would sleep so she could go out at night. Well like any medication the more you use the more tolerance your body grows. Well the xanax wasn't working quite so well anymore so she had to find another way to put her to sleep. She found a way to make chloroform. She used the chloroform to put her to sleep cause she had a date that night. She didn't leave Caylee home with mom for whatever reason but she didn't want the new boyfriend to know she was with them either. So Caylee goes to sleep, she puts her in the trunk and puts duct tape over her mouth so if she did wake up said date wouldn't hear her. I think the combination of the homemade chloroform, lack of oxygen from the duct tape and being in the trunk and the Florida heat is what killed the baby. She realizes the next morning that Caylee hasn't made a sound and goes out and discovers her dead. Casey panicks, and puts her in a trash bag so nobody will see what she's done until she starts to decompose and smell. She then puts her in a laundry bag and disposes the body and makes up the story about the nanny to cover her tracks.

What do you guys think. Close maybe?

The only thing wrong with this scenario is that the duct tape apparently covered the mouth and nose. That would certainly kill anyone - asleep or awake. And, didn't they say that the duct tape was wrapped around the head?

:confused3 Reminds me of what we say about DH's friend's wife "Sometimes she just doesn't HAVE a point." :laughing:See, this is what happens when I don't pay complete attention. No duct tape roll found in the house? Didn't George use it to put up posters of Caylee, so doesn't that put him in possession of it? But, I'm not sure of the timing of the search of the house vs the search for Caylee (and putting up the signs).

Oh you're right. It was the same as the posters...so it was in the house after she went missing but I don't know when the house was searched either. :confused3 And yes, it puts George in possession of it. I need to stop working and doing stuff while this is on so I can follow it better. ;)

I also can numerically rule out a stranger in this case due to the number of objects that came from the home. If those objects had been removed by a stranger, police would have received a call reporting a break in...and I guarantee other items would have been missing too.

The Items found with the body remind me of a person who is putting a child to sleep for the night...blankie and such. Again, that rules out a stranger/abduction

I learned while watching the Amanda Knox movie on Lifetime (!) that it is women killers who cover bodies with blankets and provide items of comfort to their victims. Men just don't do that.

no - it puts george in possession of duct tape - not that specific roll.

there is no proof that it's the same roll.

hell we've got half dozen rolls of the stuff around our house and in our car. it's the be all and end all fix it

so unless they can match up the tape from caylee to a pc that was used with georges finger prints on it then it's just a coincidence

it is coincidence..but one that you just know bozo the idiot is going to push. I think we have at least 4 rolls of the duct tape too.

Now we know why Casey can't use kidnapping as her defense. A kidnapper (male or female) wouldn't care about a child wanting its blanket or any favorite toys. And a kidnapper wouldn't think about leaving a child with "comforts" like a blanket or a heart sticker on duct tape. They just want to ditch the body and move on. They'd leave the least possible amount of evidence. If anything, a kidnapper would want to keep a "souvenir" of the kidnapping. So, if there somewhow were a blanket, it would be their trophy.

But the roll he used was the same brand, right? That was supposedly discontinued (per a post on this thread) years ago? Not saying they couldn't have more than one roll, or that they couldn't be the same brand. Still, I'd like to know when that search was...will look back at testimony later. I'm assuming the prosecutors have it all under control.

Dude...my fault! I completely forgot Bozo gets a turn to have his own witnesses. :rolleyes1

yes but if it was discontinued how many rolls were sold prior to discontinue date?

was it a crappy brand that hardly anyone bought it or was it a huge seller and millions of rolls were sold.

was it a local brand only or state or even nation wide?

it wasn't 3m soooo i'll guess it wasn't nation wide but i dont' know if it was only a local brand that tanked or if you could get it at any hardwear store in FL

the proscution is going to have a hard time putting the two parts in the same house

I just did a search for henkel..it's a pretty big company. They are the parent company for a lot of items though.

here is from their website

Henkel is the name behind some of America’s favorite brands. From Dial® soaps to Purex® laundry detergents, Right Guard® antiperspirants, göt2b® hair styling products, and Loctite® adhesives, Henkel brands are part of your daily life.

and there is this link to a media release on duct tape, but it is from 2009
