LOL ya but i've only got 1 search for it - not 82

but see what i mean - it's not as easy as putting a tablet in water and there ya go. it takes time, a lot of stuff and my guess is there's no way to do it right the first time so what happened to the 1st 2nd 3rd attempts before getting to the final stage.

a lot of credit if you say she made it in the garage.

OK...any volunteers want to try making it and report back? Kurby's already in trouble for searching it. :lmao: And I've been known to screw up StoveTop Stuffing, so I'm out. Don't want to blow up my house. :)

My neighbor's boys are into experiments. Just the other day, they made a stink bomb and were doing the Pepsi and Mentos experiment. I bet I could get them to make it. However, someone's going to have to send me the supplies. Some kid around here gets chloroformed to death and, with my purchasing bleach and acetone, all fingers are going to be pointing at me. So, if someone wants to send the stuff, I know the boys next door will have a blast with it. However, they're not the brightest bulbs and might kill themselves before we have an answer.

That's why I think someone made it for her. George would've wondered what she was mixing up in the garage, I'm sure.

But maybe there's a simpler version and that's what her 84 attempts were...trying to find an easier way.

Oh crap...I'm going to search. Oy!

Hi everyone,

I'm finally back from my appointment today. (boy can they keep you waiting)

IT"S WORKING.

Nicole's fluid is almost drained from between her lungs and the chest wall and the hydrops is starting to drain out now. the dr said it would take up to 2 weeks for all the fluid to drain out but she's looking good now.

i have to go back wed for another appointment/scan/consultation with the specialist and the genitics side to see if there is anything that wasn't tested for on the amnio. they'll be setting up an appointment for me to meet the NICU team and i suppose they'll all be able to tell me whats going to happen from now on. at least once a week for scans.

no mention yet of any induction or anything so i guess this will come in our conversation on wednesday as i'll be 34 weeks

so it's very positive news today.

Thanks for all the support everyone.

Oh I am so happy for you both. Do you feel a sense of relief now? :yay:

Wonderful news!!! I feel like our thread is going to a have a baby! We've got trial watch, and we have Kurby and Nicole watch.

Yaaaaaa, NICOLE WATCH!!!! princess:

He's going to tell us Kronk did that. How and why is anybody's guess at this point. I'm hoping that the prosecutors have gotten Kronk in a room and shone a bright light in his eyes and said "Tell us everything." The end of this trial is not the time to get blindsided. OK...any volunteers want to try making it and report back? Kurby's already in trouble for searching it. :lmao: And I've been known to screw up StoveTop Stuffing, so I'm out. Didn't the witness from today tell us that the duct tape appeared to be very old and weathered? It didn't have any DNA or stickiness left because it sat out in the elements for 6 months. If Kronk put that duct tape on a few days or even weeks before Caylee was found, the expert witnesses would have testified that it seemed fresh. In addition, this was a unique duct tape and it was found in the Anthony home! I just don't see where Baez is going to go with this.

Kurby! :thumbsup2 :yay:

Do NOT believe any news reports that Casey Anthony cried after Caylee’s skull was shown to jurors. If you see anyone in the media weighing in and saying that Casey Anthony cried , you need to turn the channel because they are giving you false information.

Casey Anthony did NOT cry. She wiped away a non tear as you see above. Her facial expression was not consistent with any expression of grief.
Instead, we see a look of anger. Look at her tight lips. In grief, the lips would be turned down and would be open. Instead, they are tight and horizontal, consistent with anger. Her furrowed forehead is also consistent with anger. She is angry only because the remains were found and that now SHE has to be on trial because of it. It is all about her and no one else.

Cant believe I just found this thread... I've been watching like everyone else since day one. Today they played a side by side of Fridays testimony of the animated video of Caylee, the skull, and duct tape of Caseys reactions with and without the jury in the room.

I wish they had aired her reactions between watching the video twice. I was more shocked that she watched the entire 2 min video after not looking at any pictures of the remains previously and looked mad while the jury was not in the courtroom. What got me is after it aired, think around 4:17 she was smiling, and chatting away with one of her attorneys. Then she was on cue as soon as the jury walked back in the room, refusing to watch the video. Maybe she's medicated, maybe she's actually already seen all the pictures of the remains.... but I'm not buying any of it.

Well I looked up zani bars, but I will pass on making chloroform. I dont think Kronk put a sticker on duct tape. I believe Casey put the duct tape on Caylee. No one else had motive for doing what she did. I sure hope the jury takes notice of all of her angry birds.

I have my Pre-Op appointment tomorrow so I'm going miss almost all of the testimony :sad2:

So if you guys could post notes about who's testifying and what they're saying I'd be most appreciative!

•Bleach
•Pure acetone, which is available at hardware stores
•Ice
•Glassware, which will allow clear vision of the solution inside
•Separation funnel

Step 4
Making the chloroform. Wear protective gear like goggles, gloves, and so on to ensure you are well protected. The instructions to make chloroform are listed in an easy-to-follow bulleted list:

•Start by filling up a glass container with half a liter of bleach
•Lower the temperature of the bleach solution by adding ice also into the container and allowing it to cool.
•Pour 10 ml of the acetone (to maintain a ratio of 1: 50, one part acetone to fifty parts of bleach) into the container.
•Add some more ice to keep the temperature low. Replacing the cubes that have already melted will ensure this. The bleach must be kept cool as otherwise it will emit fumes of bleach and chloroform.
•Keep aside for 20 minutes to ensure complete reaction. In a while clouding up can be seen with an increase in temperature.
•Allow time for the reaction to settle. This will take about half an hour, but if after this time also the solution does not appear to be settling, a stir will help.
•Once settled, you will see either be a white powder residue or a bubble at the bottom. This is chloroform.
•Pour the solution out with care, ensuring that no powder or bubble leaves the container.
•Now the pure chloroform, which remains in the glass container, can be extracted with a separation funnel.

Kurby, I just wanted to say wonderful news about the appointment today, you're certainly in my thoughts. Here is to keeping the little one in as long as she needs to be there!

Now about the chloroform, I have all the ingredients in my house and even though I'm no chemist these instructions are very simple to follow... by all accounts Casey wasn't academically challenged, just short a credit for graduation... I bet given the right circumstance, she could easily follow the directions... maybe I give her too much credit, but she is like the fox in the hen house.

I'll agree that the chloroform seems very easy to make. The only difficult part would be syphoning off the liquid and retaining the chloroform. With my luck, I'd dump it all over the place or breathe it in myself!

I also agree with the fact that Casey could've made it herself. I'm sure that if she wanted chloroform badly enough, she'd find a way to make it. The whole "when there's a will, there's a way"! However, WHERE she made it is another question. I doubt she made it in the garage as George would probably be in there more often than anyone else and might find it. I think either someone else made it or she made it somewhere else.

Watching Nancy Grace, very upset they showed the pictures of the whole skeleton and other bones even if they are pixelated.:sad2::guilty: I think if people want to see the pics they should look them up online, not have them flashed on the screen for shock value.

found something interesting

wonder if defense will bring in the 'neighbors; who heard the noise in the pool

Subject: Caylee

Dear Cindy, George and Lee:

This is the hardest letter that I ever had to write. My heart is breaking with the passing of Caylee's birthdayand she is not home with you guys. You have to be going through hell. I love you guy's and my heart issaddened with all that has transpired. I know you guys are right in the middle of it and it has to be a nightmarethat is never ending. I have been watching this since it has happened and can see it in it's entire perspective. Ihave a pretty good idea of what really happened. Please dont get angry with me, but listen to what I have tosay with an open mind. I will put it in my perspective as I see it. You guys are so close to it you may not beable to see it the way I see it.

Here goes, You mentioned that the steps of the pool were back after you took them down on the 15th of June. The neighbors said that they heard someone in the pool on the afternoon of the 16th of June. The cell phonerecords point out that Casey made a bunch of calls to you and George that you guys did not answer on the16th of June. I think Caylee drown in the pool and Casey was trying to call you guys. Since she couldn't reachyou she panicked and put Caylee's body in the backyard to hide her. Then on the 18th of June she returned toeither bury her (borrowed shovel from neighbor) or move the body. The neighbor said he thought it was oddthat she backed into the drive that day. She put Caylee's body in the trunk of the car and drove away.

That iswhy the dogs hit on the trunk and your back yard Cindy. I dont know how long the body was in the trunk butCasey abandoned the car on the 24th of June. That is why she never wanted to come back home and stayedaway. She made up the baby sitter a long time ago to cover up for when she said she was going to work. Shefigured since you "bought in" to that lie a long time ago she could use the sitter as an alibi. Not one person everseen this sitter. Not one Cindy. Is this making sense yet? Casey knows she has to lie to cover everything up.The longer it goes it will be harder to prove that the cause of death was accidental drowning as the bodydecomposes. Casey will be charged with murder instead of it being an accident.

You must run this senareopast Casey before it is too late. I know you want to believe otherwise Cindy but it just don't add up. This is yourlast chance to get through to Casey. That forensic evidence is due in at anytime now. God bless all of you.Love,Your brother,Rick

Yay for Kurby and Nicole doing good! :yay:

Tonight I was going back over old info, wondering if any of it meant anything

For example we know on March 17, 2008 Casey looked up “chloraform”, “chloroform”, “alcohol”, “acetone”, and “peroxide”.

But I forgot on March 19 she looked up One Tree Hill and One Tree Hill 100th Episode. Relevent parts of a recap on IMDb:

Background: The nanny character, who is described as personable, nurturing and beautiful, will be revealing that she'll probably end up an old maid since she can't get “the ideal” guy.

She had a son. Something happened to him and he died.

He is buried in the back yard of her house

This episode was about a nanny kidnapping a child. :upsidedow

Hmmm I wonder if this is where Casey grabbed "the nanny stold my child" idea from. :confused3

OK, I originally read this on WS (can't remember the link) and did some searches to "complete my education". ;)

It's pretty much established that KC's new friends were into weed. Evidently a "concentrated liquid essence of marijuana" called hash oil or honey oil is made using a solvent - sometimes chloroform.

This suggests several possibilities - did KC get the recipe for chloroform off the internet for TL & friends? Did they make it & she "borrowed" some? Were the paper towels (in trash bag in trunk) used to wipe up a spill (gosh, sounds like I'm working for the defense on that one)?

So many questions...

Glad to hear it, Kurby!
:cheer2:
