Not that I buy Casey's story at all, but I am curious about details surrounding their drowning argument. Was George wet? Had he gotten into the pool to get her out if he found her in there? I am not experienced in this, at all but I didn't think drowning victims floated to the top right away?

Didn't George admit to the affair, after his mistress came forward?
Im not sure if he's admitted it or not. But I think I did see her name on the states witness list. Her name is Krystal Holloway

and who's christina?

it's also interesting that no one wants to give her tony's phone number.

and if he was her boyfriend why doesn't she know his phone number

I remember those phone calls right after she went to jail. She kept saying that she wanted to talk to Tony. That seemed to be uppermost thing on her mind. Funny thing is, I don't think she ever talked to Tony again. At that point in time, didn't he pretty much just ditch her?

Don't blame him a bit. Who wants to continue a relationship with a nut case who's charged with killing her daughter. At that point, he probably wished he had never met her.:scared1:

The other thing is, I talk to my dd on the phone a lot, but I could not tell you her exact cell phone number right now because I never dial it. I have it in my cell phone address book on speed dial.

That is crazy how she says, "They just want Caylee back, that is ALL they want!" After she is upset about how she saw the family "betraying" her on TV from jail. She is ticked that they don't care about how she is doing but just about wanting Caylee back. The girl is like this is YOUR DAUGHTER MISSING like trying to talk some sense into her and Casey is just like I don't want to talk about this right now. Uh, really? wow

That's what I was thinking. I call my husband at work every day, but I don't have any idea what the number is. It's programmed into my phone.

OK,so apparently Lee Anthony is being represented by the same attorney as his parents and the motion to be heard tomorrow morning is the motion to allow him to sit in the courtroom with his parents.

When the police first interviewed Casey about Caylee being taken by the "nanny" she was asked to write out her statement and she wrote that the last day she saw Caylee was Monday June 9th- it seems as though she was unable to keep her story straight even from the beginning. She was in over her head then and she will be when she testifies. I voted a big fat "YES" that she will have to testify.

Yes, I can't wait to see how Baez spins the WHOLE story of what allegedly happened that day. If George and Casey left the front of the house at the same time, and each went around one side to get to the back (isn't that what Baez said?), and when Casey got back there, George was already holding a dead Caylee...how does that happen? Did he have to go in the pool to get her? IF Caylee was at the edge of the pool and he just had to reach in, how did he already determine she was beyond trying to save before Casey arrived VERY SHORTLY after he must've? Didn't Casey allegedly take Caylee from him and cry and cry and cry? It just seems like Baez's scenario happened SO quickly.

And George has testified about getting to the backyard from the front of the house. I think the whole yard is fenced from the house to the back, and the sides have gates. The right side gate is blocked. How did they each go a different way? I need to check out the opening statement again...I kept it. Because when Bozo starts presenting his case, I want to see how much of it changes.

And I will NEVER understand a loving grandfather (and I'll never believe he wasn't) finding a grandchild in the pool and not immediately calling 9.1.1. Not only did he not do that, but he immediately blamed Casey and went into instant cover up a NON-crime mode. :confused3

My two DDs phone numbers I know...they're one number off. My son's, no. Just cannot remember that number. If I leave my cell phone in the car, I have to go get it to get the number to call him from the house phone.

Explain something to me, all you experts. What's the big deal about the family being in the courtroom? If they can't be in the courtroom, can't they just watch it on TV?? Or do the witnesses have the same obligations as a juror not to read anything about the case, etc, and therefore NOT watch the trial? I understand them wanting to be there...I'm not saying that. I'm not sure I understand why they should be prevented. So I guess my official question  is the part that's bolded.

I need a third option of "I don't know".

I could see that she could, but I could see that she wouldn't.

They will need an EXPERT on the prosecution's side for that cross examine. Do they teach "Cross Examining Pathological Liars" in law school?

I would HOPE HOPE HOPE...that prosecution retains an expert on drownings..for the simple basics of disputing the plausibility of their timeline and then use that on cross examination.

Can prosecution call up an expert witness to rebut their "claims"?

Excellent question.

I don't know.

That helped, didn't it?:rotfl:

Well, no one knows...go with your gut. :) Just pretend it's an election, and instead of "lesser of two evils", choose "I'm leaning towards..."

I think "Cross Examining Pathological Liars" is all part of the course "How to Lead Your Client to a Create a Ridiculous Defense and Pretend You Believe it".

I heard that too about the affair; not sure about the money. But do you really think everything you hear on the news is true? At my daughter's wedding the other night, I met a woman and we got talking about a story in the news...I'm acquainted with the couple in the story (a legal case)...and she knew the story from the opposite side. (Let me just say...a VERY AWKWARD few minutes of conversation.) She didn't tell me the side of the story that SHE knew (couldn't, ethically and professionally) but as she said, what was reported in the news was not all as it appeared. As a matter of fact, and what I told her, I did notice that key facts were left out of the traumatic TV news story, that were in the legal documents and written news reports. I'm just saying that just because it's in the news, it doesn't mean it's exactly true. I only bring this up because I think you may have said something about the prosecution case (IIRC...forgive me if I'm wrong) many pages back...that just because they're saying it, it doesn't make it true?

I heard this on a reliable local news station. Is it true? I don't know. There are many things about this case on both sides that I doubt. I will admit that I am not, in any sense, a fan of George Anthony. I feel there is a lot to this man that makes him a not very nice person. Do I believe everything Casey is saying about him? No. I don't believe her. I also don't believe everything he says. Talk about a screwed up family.

:lmao:

I am leaning towards WILL testify. And I hope she lies on the stand and I hope that prosecution catches that....and busts her for it and the jury sees it.

That even with her life on the line, she will commit perjury.

Why no...no, it didn't. :lmao: CASEY would have had an answer...a long involved answer. A lie, but an answer nonetheless. You need to work on that!
umm...errrrr...

The butler did it.

I think being in a courtroom is more than just hearing testimony, it is about being affected by it and asserting your influence on the testimony of others. So it isn't (I think) just about tainting their upcoming turn on the witness stand.

I mean--we can see and hear how difficult it is for Cindy to testify. If we were sitting in that courtroom, it would be much more tangible. (sorry for this poor analogy--the difference between watching something on television and seeing it live--there is more energy when you are present.)

Just a theory anyway.

I do see what you mean. I guess there's also the concern of a possible outburst, which could affect the proceedings, esp someone like Lee, who's been accused of sexual assault.

OK, I think its because, when they are scheduled to testify, they have to be in the courtroom, all day, if needed. This happened to Lee when he accompanied Mallory. He had to sit outside the entire time. Since George hasn't been released and they don't know when they might call him back, he would have to be "on call" in the witness holding room, therefore, not be able to watch the trial. Does that make sense? That's the only thing I can figure. I always asked myself the same thing.. uh, can't they just watch a livestream?

I think she wants to testify but not sure if they will let her. And I agree 100% with the perjury part.
