Yes, I remember all of that too. I don't know why anyone would believe anything that comes out of that girl's mouth. I wonder if Bozo knows the real story or is just as delusional and believes all of Casey's lies?

Also, it still makes me chuckle to this day: I remember early on when this whole thing happened, Cindy was being interviewed about whether or not she knew Casey was pregnant, etc... Cindy said at first there was no way she could even think that Casey might be pregnant because she was a virgin! And she would have told her mother if she weren't. Seeing those slutty pics of hers just baffles my mind that Cindy could think that way.

Personally, I bet that Jose probably knows the truth. I don't see how he can believe all of her lies. He can't be stupid if he graduated from law school (well, then again, maybe he can).

I think Cindy turned a blind eye to a lot of things Casey did. She probably just didn't want to deal with the reality.

I think Baez "led" her to this defense. Asking just the right questions, or picking up on some little thing Casey said, and ran with it.

Oh yeah, that Casey...such a good girl. NOT!

So if Baez knows the truth, and if the truth is that Casey did kill Caylee (by whatever means), doesn't he still have to defend her, even if he knows that she is guilty?

I think the general consensus here is that the rest of the defense team is not aware of anything but that Jose is sort of the behind the scenes mastermind of where her defense strategy came from.

I think Baez knows the truth in the same way OJ's lawyer knew the truth. Technically (and I think it was discussed here before, or maybe on InSession or Nancy Grace...I'm mixing all of us up!) I think lawyers are required to tell what they know if a client confesses to them, no?? Does this make sense at all, or am I way off?

Maybe? I haven't actually read that so I was wondering. I swear I heard it mentioned that he was only a homicide detective for 6 years. Did he just retire from the job? Had he worked for the police department for years before that? It seems like he had multiple jobs in 2008 but maybe I misunderstood.

I found his resume online... and he filled out job paperwork on 6/17/08 for a new job saying he could start 7/1/08

He worked for 10 yrs at the Sherrif's department as a detective in auto theft... Ohio

After that...mostly security type jobs, supervising etc...jobs ended due to downsizing or company contracts not being renewed...etc.

You can find the link online...I'd rather not post it because the poster didn't redact telephone numbers and I was uncomfortable seeing that info online. Even though they probably have all new numbers...just amazes me out what you can find out online.

The guy's name was Jeffrey (or maybe Jeff) - there was no son Zach. He used to work at Universal but barely knew Casey. He certainly didn't recommend the non-existant nanny and didn't drug his non-existant son.

Also there's no Juliette Lewis (and no baby Annabelle).

However there is an actress named Juliette Lewis who was in a movie Natural Born Killers playing a character named Mallory Knox.

This actress Juliette Lewis also was in a HIM music video (2003) for "Buried Alive by Love" - Lyrics

I would like to ask Casey why she allowed George to babysit Caylee alone so much if she's claiming he had abused her? You would think she would go to great lengths to keep him away

George worked as a police officer for 10 yrs. He says Cindy was worried about him working as a cop after they had children. He quit to work for his dad's used car/van conversion dealership with the understanding that George would take over the business when his dad retired.

Here's where it gets shifty: there appeared to be a "falling out" between the two and George's dad sold the dealership & retired. (There's some kinda weird stuff about his throwing his dad through a plate glass window per Cindy's brother & mother).

George opened his own used car lot. Failed after two yrs. (I think) and since they 2nd mortaged their house, they lost it. Decided to move to FL. Cindy still didn't want him in LE, so he ended up with all sorts of odd jobs, mainly revolving around security. Oh, he did a short stint for a termite company, fell in a hole, tore up his knee and was on disability for a year or two.

I also didn't know he & Cindy separated for 8 mos. shortly after Caylee was born. He'd run up some major $$$ on online gambling. They ended up back together and I get the impression he was pretty much 'whipped after that.
