I realize none of you know me personally, but I am very sensetive toward this trial as I have lost my daughter who was only 25. I dont know why I feel like I am being attacked for any comment I made is not hurting anyone. But for someone else it is okay to make comments that may have suggestion with it. If you do not want me on the thread that is fine. I am just a person who is discussing this like anyone else here.

To say I'm sorry for the loss of your daughter is an understatement. I can not even imagine what you went through and what emotions this trial is bringing back up for you at this time.

However, no one has attacked you. If you're refering to the comment that I made saying that I didn't believe every gesture has to have a hidden meaning, that was in no way an attack. Simply my belief, which you may or may not share. Lisa loves Pooh & I did not agree but neither one of us attacked the other.

As you have seen in the past couple days on this thread there have been some disagreements, yet everyone has kept it polite and no one attacked anyone personally.

This kind of trial, where a child has died, brings up a lot of emotions and in this case the behavior of the defendant is so infuriating, it makes things even worse.

Thank you, Please do not miss understand me I am not looking for sympathy. I enjoy talking with everyone.

For people who have lost children this trial makes it even tougher.

How can she sit there so stone faced while her Mom is sitting there recounting all the lies? She doesn't even look slightly embarrassed.

Did you notice that Cindy still states things as if they were true ? She has to know at this point that it was lies yet she still says "I know she went to her apartment", "Zanny didn't have her identification"...
There was no Zanny, no apartment, no Tampa. She knows that, right?! :confused3

I did notice that.

I can't figure out if she is reciting it that way so the jurors can see how she didn't realize that she knew it was a lie..or if she still doesn't think Casey was telling lies. :confused3

I think I'd confess just not to have to sit there and be totally embarrassed. But that girl doesn't feel a thing. And boy, can she spin a lie...the car accident, having to go back to get Zani's ID, and Zani's sick relatives, and all the plans and the friend's kids, and she...Casey...just felt that she needed to have Caylee close to her. Unbelievable.

Recessing for a 10 minute stretch break. Everyone pee, put a load of laundry in, say hello to your families, etc. ;)

But as I said a couple of pages ago, she said that they looked for Zani until SIX WEEKS AGO. That was about when Baez put out there about the big bombshell.

FYI...I'm finding the Orlando Sentinel streaming MUCH better...no commercials, like WFTV.

Vida Bella...the beautiful life.I'm so sorry about your daughter. :( I must've missed a comment along the way.

Did I hear Cindy say that she had been looking for Zani the Nanny from July 2008 until SIX WEEKS AGO? Wasn't it six weeks ago that Jose Baez first put it out there that they were going to drop a bombshell and claim Casey was sexually abused by George?

I can't beleive she didn't ask why she stopped looking 6 weeks ago. Now, WE all know Zanny is either completely imaginary(for 2 YEARS) or is Xanax, how could Cindy have held out hope this was a real person to 'look' for?! But, I forgot, there was no nanny. Caylee drowned in the pool and George and Casey hid it from Cindy.......................that must be when she stopped looking.

Dang that girl is an impressive liar

caylee and my daughter are/were only 2 months apart in age.

caylee in Aug my daughter in Oct

listening to cindy talk about being in the pool brings back memories of dd in the pool that year. teh life jacket, the jumping in, even taking her suit off in the pool and wrapping a towel around her to take her into the house

Kurbs, I felt so emotional watching the video of Caylee in her little swim suit on her 2nd birthday! Oh my, I posted earlier, I had the hardest time letting go of my kiddos when they were that age. I never wanted to put them down. This does bring back tons of memories for all of us when our kiddos were that age. Just so disturbing to me, all of it. :sad2:

Doesn't it seem odd to anyone else that neither Cindy or George ever requested to meet Zanny or at least check up on her credentials? I realize that Casey told them stories, but they openly admit that they knew Casey lies about everything. Did they never question how Casey was paying for Zanny? While Casey claimed to have a job, George admitted that he questioned this. He even went to one of her places of work because he suspected she wasn't working there.

It just seems odd to me, since they clearly loved Caylee very much and were protective of her, that they didn't want to at least get to know the person caring for Caylee. What an odd family.

Caylee was born (8/9/05) exactly a week before my dd (8/16/05) I remember that summer too. We spent so much time in the pool.

Did they not ask to meet Zani? Has that been established in court? Because no doubt Casey would and did spin lies. Have they said that "they knew Casey lies about everything"? They had to be believing SOME things they told her. They believed she worked. Would I want to meet my kids' nanny? Sure. But if my kids were telling me this this and that and it didn't work out meeting her, I'd believe them.

Like Cindy just said "I'm just the grandma."

It looks to me that they were both walking on eggshells around Casey, and didn't dare ask her too many questions or demand to meet people that were around her. Maybe Casey threatened them to move & take Caylee.

The Zachary Cindy keeps refering to... he doesn't even exist. That poor guy (Jeffrey) BARELY knew Casey.

What doesn't seem to ring with me is that doesn't every parent know when this kid is lieing ?

My mom calls me out all the time... Well not all the time. I'm not a compulsive lied bit ykwim

Cindy...Casey is an adult woman and could do what she wanted, and Caylee was her daughter. She was a young woman who needed to move on with her life, and they weren't going to interfere with that. Living in their house, they just asked that they know her and Caylee's coming and goings, and supposedly that's what they were hearing from Casey.

Off to my ultrasound. I'm gonna miss the rest of coney. Not sure if that's a good thing but I'll be reading on here while waiting

No, every parent doesn't know. Esp with a compulsive liar. That's how compulsive liars can be compulsive liars...they're good at it. Growing up, surely I lied to my parents at SOME point, and they didn't know. And surely, with 3 now adult kids, I've been lied to somewhere along the line about something and didn't know it. I thinks it's a dangerous thing to think that your child will NEVER lie to you, and that you will ALWAYS know when they are.
