During the press conference given by LE the other day, they asked them if their lives had changed due to the publicity from this trial. One of the LE officers sitting next to Yuri looked at him, smiled, and said, "Nah, not really, I'm in Yuri's shadow."

I tend to agree with this. But, honestly I couldn't care less about their motives for suing Casey, because as you say, it ultimately will keep her from profiting from murdering her little girl.

So now Leonard Padilla is in the suing mix? Well, I think he's an attention, money hungry tool. One big fame-w$$$ so I don't see anything altruistic about his suit BUT, still makes me snicker that Miss Anthony has to keep dealing with these summons....

He makes me sick. No one has forced him to hang around and he has most likely made a ton of money off Caylee already. Bodyguards??? seriously? Trust me LP..no one cares a bit about you.

I'm pleased to see that my state was able to find some competent people to serve on a jury; jurors that are able to connect the dots and figure out who the caregiver is.

Casey has had 3 years to prepare for the ZFG deposition. The judge needs to tell her she has to go to, this is ridiculous. She isn't physically exhausted and she has always been mentally messed up so there are no excuses .

Where as I may agree that she is "mental" , but mentally and physically "exhausted"? - I don't think so ... she's in solitary confinement 23 hours a day - ummm, are they trying to say that she hasn't had any time to catch up on her sleep since the verdict was read?! - puuhlease ...

I am getting so sick of these defense lawyers and their lame excuses ... I was just listening to Dorothy Clay Sims on HLN again talking about the DT "celebrating the constitution" after the verdict and it makes me just wonder, do these people actually listen to themselves?! ... she's making all these excuses about it (i.e. it wasn't planned, the restaurant served them food without them even asking, they stayed in the restaurant for their own safety, etc.) however, did she watch the tapes? ... didn't she see herself jumping up and down, acting like a fool while they "toasted the consitution"?! ... it sure looked like nothing less than a big ol' victory party to me, period. - so why not just admit it and move on for goodness sakes?! ...

I am tired of hearing respect the jury and the Constitution. Bleh. I am patriotic and respectful. These are different issues. The trial mileu has changed. We have to llok at how justice can proceed in this age.

I have been a lurker on this thread, but this is so worth repeating. Before dna, people were found guilty of murder. People used a little bit of common since, along with evidence. I also get upset when people say there was not enough evidence. It has nothing to do with me not respecting the constitution. THe woman murdered her child. Just because a jury found her not guilty doesn't make her innocent--and if that is true that a few of them thought she was guilty and still let her off for "whatever reason" I hope they think about Caylee every day...What a shame.

We have went through 6 different threads with this trial and everyone has been for the most part respectful. There is no need to be sarcastic.
