I've got a few questions. If it (is) Casey, why is she safe to be out in public alone in Ohio but not in Florida? It's curious that the same time the court is asking her to appear in Florida, a sighting happens. And funny that Baez is not either denying it's Casey or screaming to leave her alone.

It is called creating interest keep 'em wanting kind of like when you see a movie trailer it is to make you want to see the whole movie.

I believe it is staged also. I bet if somebody came up to her to harass her, body guards would have jumped out of the woodwork. I can't see the DT letting her out by herself.

I absolutely, 100% believe it was staged. But here's why I am confused:

If her team intended to makeover her image, why did they trot her out looking so Casey-ish? Messy jeans, tight-t-shirt, sunglasses, bracelets,
flip-flops, gum, cell phone...yep, it's Casey circa 2008.

I assumed her big reveal would be a polished attempt to change public opinion. Maybe this was the best they could do?

I absolutely, 100% believe it was staged. But here's why I am confused:

If her team intended to makeover her image, why did they trot her out looking so Casey-ish? Messy jeans, tight-t-shirt, sunglasses, bracelets,
flip-flops, gum, cell phone...yep, it's Casey circa 2008.

I assumed her big reveal would be a polished attempt to change public opinion. Maybe this was the best they could do?

Maybe they are going to let us think this is what she looks like and then change her image so no one recognizes her.

Maybe they are trying to move on with their lives. Maybe they are in denial about how much pain they've been in for the last three years, and are still in?

I truly don't understand all of your anger towards them.

I'm not trying to be snarky, really I'm not, just trying to understand.

Just my .02. and not snarky here either, but explaining why some of us might seem unforgiving toward them.

By watching this case from the beginning, I can totally understand how some of us went from feeling pity toward the Anthony's to downright contempt. They just provided so much misdirection to law enforcement and the public throughout the entire case that I think anyone who wanted justice for Caylee would have reason to become dismayed with them.

Yes, it was bad enough that Cindy cleaned the car and washed the clothes. But their later actions turned my sympathy switch to off. Lots of things piled on, for example Cindy telling Texas Equsearch they were "fired" and to get out (after Cindy having had the nerve to tell the rest of us to "get off our a**es to find her granddaughter!") to the time when the detectives asked Cindy for Caylee's hairbrush and she purposely gave them Casey's instead

And why would they go to the memorial scene in the darkness of night and remove items left there in Caylee's memory? After all, people just wanted to show that they cared for Caylee by leaving those crosses, etc. where the remains were found. I think it gave people some comfort.

So why would the A's remove those to throw them away? (Though thinking of this again reminds me at the very beginning of the case when Caylee had first gone missing and George put bags and bags of trash out out the curb and a reporter saw they were full of stuffed animals. Someone else grabbed them and opened them (a neighbor? a protestor? can't remember, have to look it up again) and they were full of stuffed animals and momentos people had sent along with cards and donations to the A's since Caylee had just gone missing. It was shocking at the time because it was so new. Of course the money mentioned in the cards was kept by the A's, everything else sent got tossed. )

My hardened heart actually started to thaw toward Cindy during the trial when she was sobbing on the stand, and I thought real progress was being made for Caylee. And when Cindy left the stand without even looking Casey's way, hugged George on her way out of the courtroom and Casey threw her fit, woohoo. Truth is finally going to be coming out! But then Lee made his visit to Jose's office and the next time we see Cindy on the stand she is perjuring herself and mouthing "I love you's" to Casey

There was just so much more over the time (i.e. the Caylee Foundations they started and the money taken from them, buying the $30,000 bass boat naming it "SS Caylee Marie" saying it was for search and rescue, when investigators were focusing on Caylee's shoes and Cindy hurriedly donated them, oh it just goes on and on.....

JMO it should be maybe they are in denial for how much pain they've caused for the last three years.

You have explained it much better than I did! The actual post was directed toward me but you did it much more justice and even I did not know about the animals or that they emptied the memorial site. I was deciding whether I would go to see it next week when I am Orlando and thought better of it. NOW I am going to get some flowers and put them there! I will get south American roses and not have them dethorned(used to be a florist and these babies HURT)....just let them try and clear away those babies.

While I would never buy a book written by anyone in that family, I would read them when they came to our library. I would love to hear Cindy's version. I know it would have to be taken with a grain of salt but I am very curious what her reaction was when she heard Casey claim George had been abusing her for years. I can't imagine ever cutting my daughter out of my life but killing my grandchild and accusing her father of deplorable acts would be the breaking point for me. So while I can muster up a bit of sympathy for Cindy, it is a very small amount.

I'd bet my bottom dollar that Cindy would claim JB made KC say it and that would be the end of that chapter. In retrospect, I think that whole theory was orchestrated:

JB: "We have to go through with this whole drowning & George molestation thing to try to get KC off. It's our only chance. You know & I know it isn't true, but if we can get a few people to consider it a possibilty, it might work."

You're probably right. My DH would leave me faster than I can blink if I decided to go with that story. And I certainly wouldn't blame him.

Check this out. It looks like we have 12 competent people in the state of FL that were able to sit on a jury, listen, connect the dots, and convict even on circumstantial evidence. Too bad these 12 weren't the jurors in the Casey Anthony trial.

amazing, they took a case of circumstantial evidence, no cause of death (just that he was dead before the car was set on fire) and really nothing much to go on..but these people could put 2+ 2 together and got it right! Where were these people when they were seating the Casey jury...oh that's right, DT wouldn't have let them get through.

I definitely think that's her, but I'm wondering if those aren't staged to make people think they know where she is. Maybe she set up the "photo shoot" and hours later was whisked away yet again to her real hideaway.

On a lighter note, my husband who is a University of Michigan graduate student and die hard Wolverines fan, and therefore is the sworn enemy of all things OSU, is going to get a major kick out of this. If it gets out that she really is there, I can't even imagine what kind of jokes will come of it during rivalry week in November!

LOL. I will be in C-bus next Wednesday (10th) for OSU orientation for my daughter. My 2 older kids already live in the area. Middle DD goes to OSU now and the older one moved there to be with boyfriend. They live very close to campus. I'll have to keep my eyes open for sightings if she isn't back in FL by then.

HMM I am for the Jackson and Peterson because Jeffs is too easy. But then again would have thought CA was a slam dunk.

You know if those were new stuffed animals they could have contributed them to a hospital ....after all Cindy was a nurse and as such she must have had a few outlets for new toys for needy kids.

Either the pics from Ohio aren't her or they used a double. If you look at the side-by-side of FCA on TMZ's homepage with her in the black shirt and the gray. Black shirt pic looks like could be her, gray def does not. Now they're saying that the difference in her appearance since the release is a b**b job. But you can also tell the end of the nose thing from one pic to the next.

I see what you mean, but the claim is she is a victim of others. Poor poor ICA (I means icky this time) I thought this was a sort of "see, life goes on" just another average girl staging.

Isnt this the famed attorney that gave JB advice in NY? Name sounds familiar, but I still dont believe those pics are of ICA/FCA, girl is at least 2 sized bigger.. in the jeans and top half. Anyone can stick a mole here and there, bulb nose is only on her one day and not the other which makes it looks like fillers and doesnt have ICA's odd walk...
