Casey Anthony Civil Trials Discussion

WAIT I don't need websleuths to figure this one out. So they take this girl and parade her as Casey. She comes back in Casey's place and for a tidy sum does the probation for Casey and that leaves Casey still free to earn money for interviews in another country so that the IRS cannot touch it. I KNOW! I did steal the story line from the Prince and the Pauper but .......given some of the carp we are expected to believe in this case...well this does not seem all that far fetched.

Fingerprints would not match.

Not her wayyy to fat and this chick has a double chin. Unless she ate her self silly since she has been in hiding.

Harsh.

I think she looks healthy. Chewing like a cow and free due to the stupidity of others, but healthy none the less.

=denisem;42096331I agree with Bella; the thing that did me in was Cindy destroying evidence when she cleaned KC's car so quickly. Think about it - if it was not incriminating, the average parent would be so ticked at paying a $500 towing fee they'd make their kid clean their OWN car. This is in addition to enabling KC's lies for so many years, not cooperating with LA, Tim Miller, etc.

I still feel bad for them. They've been through something that I'd never wish on my worst enemy.

I think it's easy for us to sit in judgment of George and Cindy since we have not walked in their shoes. None of us know for sure how we would behave if we were in the same situation. We think we know how we would behave, but until one is in a situation, we don't know.

Casey, OTOH, I have no sympathy for her, at all.

Why do you have so much anger towards George and Cindy?

Maybe they are trying to move on with their lives. Maybe they are in denial about how much pain they've been in for the last three years, and are still in?

I truly don't understand all of your anger towards them.

I'm not trying to be snarky, really I'm not, just trying to understand.:confused3

According to Cindy and son on the stand they have yet to fully mourn and accept Caylee's death at the time of the trail.

So now her kissing the dolphins and posing for memories just days after an acquittal among many other things makes her out to be a grade A 100% phoney imo . I lost any and all sympathy I managed to muster for her during the States direct.

I really despise the way Cindy has handled everything. But in the end, I can garner a little sympathy for her. She never asked for this. She would give anything to go backwards and have Caylee still be alive. I agree, we just don't know how we would react. When Cindy perjured herself, I believe she did so only to help assure her daughter didn't get the death penalty. Like most of America, I don't think she thought Casey would walk out that door a free woman.

I can actually excuse Cindy's behavior before and during the trial. She was a grieving mother and grandmother. She was likely putting very little thought into repercussions while she scrubbed the trunk clean and when she perjured herself.

I lose sympathy for her when it comes to her behavior after the trial. She seems desperate to reconnect with Casey. While I may not know how I would react in the heat of the events, I know that after letting everything digest for the past three years, I would have cut my daughter out of my life at this point. I couldn't welcome with open arms a person that killed my grandchild even if they were flesh and blood. It disturbs me that Cindy immediately tried to connect with Casey after she was found not guilty. It disturbs me that the two may have gotten together if they are wearing identical necklaces. It disturbs me that Cindy is trying to make money on the car that was a coffin for her granddaughter. The trips they are taking don't bother me if some generous person felt sympathy for them and offered to give them some relaxation time. Unfortunately, I don't believe that for a moment. I am sure there is some deal in the works regarding book deals, pictures, etc. I couldn't sell out my dead granddaughter like that.

While I would never buy a book written by anyone in that family, I would read them when they came to our library. I would love to hear Cindy's version. I know it would have to be taken with a grain of salt but I am very curious what her reaction was when she heard Casey claim George had been abusing her for years. I can't imagine ever cutting my daughter out of my life but killing my grandchild and accusing her father of deplorable acts would be the breaking point for me. So while I can muster up a bit of sympathy for Cindy, it is a very small amount.

Meh--that is a copout. They were complicit in several things and once they became complicit in the court of law, they lost any sympathy. Cindy has never made any apologies for her actions--even when there were witnesses to prove she lied about her whereabouts.:confused3

As for the dolphin photo--people go through all sorts of trauma--what we can't ever predict is our ability to smile when doing something fun that may serve to just be distracting us from reality. I don't think Cindy is evil incarnate for enjoying that moment and that moment really has nothing to do with what went on in the courtroom. Caylee was gone 3 years ago and I am sure the not guilty verdict was as close to peace as she would ever get (not that I agree that Casey going free is "peaceful").

But Cindy was wrong and will always be wrong for what she did. Her being Caylee's grandmother does not remove her accountability for how she interfered with the process of finding truth. She failed in her duty as grandma.

UNLESS..... they made thin latex copies of CA fingerprints and attached them to the double's hand with spirit gum like they attach latex parts to alter appearances in the movies. Come to think of it...the bulbous nose tip might be a fake OR it could just be that she gains weight in her nose. :rotfl:

Wow, look at Casey acting like she has no idea the cameras are rolling. :rolleyes1

I bet Baez off to the side, gesturing and signaling like a Pageant Mom...look casual, Casey, look casual...stay where we can see you...by the windows... chomp that gum...pivot to the left...now sip the Starbucks...Well done, Princess.

She looks ridiculous.

OMG:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::lmao::laughing:

now that's funny!

I agree but still I am betting they got money for the dolphin photos and to me that is blood money. It is like they are flaunting it. I know they went through hell but some of it was of their own making. If this was not a high profile case as they caused it to be, then they would not have had the high profile laywer, Equisearch or any of the other assistance. How do they pay their lawyer? I do not think disability pays enough to have this guy at your beck and call but somehow he was everywhere. And he was not the first lawyer they had. I wonder why the others were let go? Just saying why not try to blend in with the curtains if they want to get on with their lives. Maybe it is the theraputic effect that dolphins have on people and that is why they were making such a big deal out of it. Yeah right!

I honestly don't care if it is her or not in those pictures/video, but I fully believe that they are staged!

No, I don't believe it's a cop-out at all. But that's JMO.

I hope you're right and they AREN'T her because if they are that means she's in my area. BLECH!

I believe it is staged also. I bet if somebody came up to her to harass her, body guards would have jumped out of the woodwork. I can't see the DT letting her out by herself.

So what's the next trial we're going to dissect?

Warren Jeffs trial starts today

Mchael jacksons dr in sept

Petersons ??? When?

HMM I am for the Jackson and Peterson because Jeffs is too easy. But then again would have thought CA was a slam dunk.

CA is supposed to be in court tomorrow. 10 am. I will be on the RD to Fla ...figures.

OMG BP signed a stay and she will not have to return to Orlando tomorrow. JEESH. Give me a break who the heck serves probation IN JAIL. What is that like double jeopardy in reverse?

I've got a few questions. If it (is) Casey, why is she safe to be out in public alone in Ohio but not in Florida? It's curious that the same time the court is asking her to appear in Florida, a sighting happens. And funny that Baez is not either denying it's Casey or screaming to leave her alone.
