Loving Vinnie Politan's interview with Jeff Ashton! Still watching it, but what he has to say about the jurors does my heart good. One of the things that made me sick about the verdict is how some commentators as well as the defense lawyers (and Cindy) held these jurors up as god-like, who could do no wrong, rather than their emphasis being on the FACT that the jury's verdict stands. KWIM? The jury's verdict may have been final, but that doesn't mean they were anywhere near correct and hardly brilliant (OMG...those jurors and "brilliant" in the same sentence ) as Cheney Mason would have you believe.

It probably repeats later tonight on HLN.

Listening to the Dr Phil interview, listening to these jurors is making me ill to my stomach as I remember just how STUPID they are! I wish people would just ask 1 simple question...

Why would Casey sit in jail for 3 years if there was someone else to blame and not make this claim until opening statements?

Ugh, Im back to remembering how angry I was....

I'm watching 48 Hours Mystery on I.D., about the trial of Daniel Pelosi for murdering his rich girlfriend's (later, wife) estranged husband in the Hamptons. He was convicted. The jurors spoke on the show, and they said that everything pointed to his involvement, whether he was actually there or not. Yet, the Casey Anthony jurors needed to know, per Jennifer Ford, juror extraordinaire, EXACTLY HOW IT HAPPENED.

I wonder if Jennifer Ford went back to nursing school. I think I'd freak out if I saw her standing over me or a loved one in an ER.

I think there were two two-parters...one about the case in general, and one with Jeff Ashton. I only watched part of part one of one two-parter. (Read that carefully...it does make sense!)

I came across this, and found it entertaining. I think Juror #3 Jennifer Ford is at the top of my list of People I Love to Hate, even above Kathie Lee Gifford! lol (FYI, I don't truly "hate" anyone.)

I watched both parts. You can hear the disdain Ashton has for the jurors in his tone even though he is careful with the words. I enjoyed this interview more than others as Vinnie P has a lot of the same questions as we do about the jury.

He talks of the jury, like in his book, saying that most intelligent, insightful and interested people follow the news. These people , the people kind of people the prosecution wanted on the jury, were the first people disqualified. The people they got were vanilla, unwilling to make a decision. Vinnie brings up the point of the defense whining about a fair jury, but in reality it was more fair to them than to the prosecution.

He talks about how at times he wanted to take George and tell him to stop playing games with Baez on the stand because he wasn't coming off well, but that was George.

Vinnie asked him what 3 things he would have asked Casey as well as what 3 things the jury didn't know. About asking Casey, Im trying to remember. Ashton said he would have asked her what Bella Vita meant to her. I can't remember the other two. About what the jury didn't know, he mentioned the heresay about the relationship between Cindy and Casey.

Geez, Im sorry, but I have horrible recall abilities LOL! Hopefully VP might post it somewhere.

I caught it mid interview.

The gist I fit was that she did the special to reiterate the FACTS as folks have CSI brain and are tying to rewrite history. That "manner of death" is always based on opinion and that the rules of science are what made finding a COD impossible. The bones were DRY. Nothing was left. But history rewriters are still saying all these tests should have been done when the fact is that NONE could be done.

Although all these professionals involved in this case deal with many crimes and testify in many trials, and the verdict might not always go their way (guilty), this had to be a particularly tough one to swallow. It must be SO frustrating to have a LIAR like Casey Anthony and not be able to break her. To feel SO confident in the evidence against her, in the case of the murder of an innocent child, and have jurors barely deliberate, come back with a crazy verdict, and then speak so stupidly about it, must make them want to scream. I think Dr G is lucky that she has an outlet for another opportunity to get her information out there, and without the restrictions of a courtroom.
