Carthay Circle reservation??? Solved

I cannot believe this is still happening. I got up at the crack of dawn this morning to secure a reservation for Carthay Circle as my mom requested that for her 80th birthday. Back before Covid it was extremely predictable that you could go on exactly at the time to get your ressies and you pretty much got them. Even hard to get ones. I know right after covid it was all over the place. But this morning I went on and tried to get it and THOUGHT I got it but then I realized i got the lounge not the restaurant. The date I want JUST opened today so I KNOW that it is not booked. I had to cancel the one at the lounge but my question is does anyone know when they drop because that is the ONE thing that she asked for and I REALLY don't want to have to get up at 6 a.m for the next who knows how many days looking for it. I would appreciate the help as that is the only thing she requested. I also of course just wanted to get her a small cake but of course I guess that is an act of congress. Pretty disappointed in disney. That is one of their fanciest restaurants and they have no options? Plus I don't want a cake that feeds 6 people! I have gotten birthday cakes for YEARS but just not lately and never had a problem. I don't get it! Anyway I would really appreciate the help. I have been going for years and was a former AP holder but since covid it is anyone's guess how things work :/

How many people are you trying to make a reservation for? When I look at the app, I see plenty of reservations for Carthay Circle Restaurant or Feb 26. Are you trying to do lunch for two? If so, try booking for three and then change later.

Edit: Just saw that you have a party of six. There are lots of dinner reservations open for six, but no lunch reservations.

I was only wanting 2 and when I went on this morning there was nothing but I checked later and it was there. Frustrating though cuz I gor up so early and wasn't there but I did get it. Thanks though
