You embroider??? How cool is that! I love your projects and I hope the wish granters are more gracious than ours were when Lisa and Rachel gave them a little gift (I KNOW they will be, most would and those shirts are AWESOME)!!! How fun about the pillow cases! You have talent!

Not sure about talent! I'm just lucky to have parents that own a sewing store, as well as work there myself! Its pretty easy when the machines do most of the work for you! I did have some issues with it and
that is where DH comes in handy! He as worked at the store as well for 12 yrs, so he actually can sew better than me!

We've found that lots of people don't know her name. How about Briar Rose? I was going to say I can't name any WWE, then I remembered Cena, but only because he was on the MAW site. DH knows all about the princesses, and about playing Pretty Pretty Princess.

So we got confirmation that MAW will be officially granting Carter's wish on the air Thur Feb 7. They are online if anyone is interested in listening. They are 106.3 in Lincoln. We will be there at 7am!! Boys aren't too excited about the time! I hope we get some flight times and more info on excursions. My fear is the cruise is only 2 months away and I am worried about some of them selling out.
Carter woke up barking like a seal this morning so gave him a couple of doses of steriods and will do his infusion tomorrow and hope it doesn't get any worse.

YEA!!!! We have dates!!!!] SO excited Heard from Carter's wish granter today and we are cruising on the Dream April 6-11!!! We will be heading to Omaha (1 hr away) on Friday April 5 stay the night in a hotel. Then we will fly to Orlando on Sat April 6 and stay the night at the Hyatt. I am sooooo excited, litterally jumping up and down. Now it all seems real plus I can now plan! I am not telling Carter so that within the next 2 weeks they can grant his wish on the radio live. It is so hard not to tell him, but that way he can be surprised! Not sure on any times of flights but mainly I was just concerned about getting dates and request into work for the days off. Now we will just wait to hear more info on our room, flights, and everything in between.

Hope you don't mind if I join this DisBoards thread. We are on your Disney Cruise (Dream 4/7) and in your FE Exchange group also.

Carter's wish granter emailed me our flights tonight! So glad that we don't fly through Denver, it is always really bumpy and Austyn is so scared of flying! We are flying on American Airlines April 6 leaving at 8:40am with a stop in Dallas. We get into Orlando at 4:00. They have us booked at the Holiday Inn (not Hyatt) which makes more since. The Hyatt is crazy $$. Since we get in early enough we plan on doing something around Orlando that night, not sure what yet. Our return flight leaves April 11 at 3:00 and get back in at 8:00. Since you usually get off the ship by 8, we might have to plan an activity for the day!

Carter's wish granter emailed me and our cabin is 7068! Oceanview with a balcony!! I looked it up and it looks like a great location. Austyn and I both get motion sick so having the balcony helps a lot! I love reading and watching the ship pull into the ports! I have never been real good at keeping secrets and I am having a hard time not telling my little man!!

Only 2 more days till the big wish grant!! I am so excited for him! I have been busy working on our FE, we signed up to join a group on our cruise. I have been gathering stuff for gifts and ordered my main item lastnight! They will be handmade, but still have to order a part of it. I think they will be great! Taking the boys and their freind to COco key for the weekend, I must be crazy! It will be nice to get a way for a bit and enjoy some drinks and water!

Sooo Glad that Carter is getting his with to go on a Disney Cruise. The little guy has been through a lot and he deserves it. Ain't it miraculous what our kids can go through. There are times in their lives, where they have wires jetting in and out of them, needles galor... and they take it in stride. My kids... they haven't winced at a needle since they were like 3 YO. In a perfect world, kids should be scared of such things, but when it becomes almost everyday life, its no big deal anymore.

My daughter too is going on a cruise, just not till August. She's looking forward to it also. Can't wait.

Before the cruise, I will go to Aubrey's (our daughter) pediatrician and ask for a prescription for ZOFRAN. IF we have any issues (which we haven't so far), Aubrey (age 7) can take 1 tablet and I can take 2 tablets.

I use the patches and Austyn uses Bomine and the sea bands. They seem to work pretty good, as long as the waves aren't too BIG!

Really no words to describe this morning! It was so much fun and so special. The boys were both very surprised. They loved picking songs to play and pushing all the buttons to run things. Carter wouldn't talk on air, but mom did! His wish granters were there along with 2 awesome ladies from MAW. He got a box full of pixie dust and had a great time!
