Cars Land updates

I was there today. I only did single rider and despite what any sign said I never waited more than 45 min. I don't need to ride with friends or anything if it means I wait less than 1/4 of the posted SB line.

How are the lines in the rest of the park and DL?
We planned/booked a 2 week CA trip 1 1/2 years ago and we get in on Sun we will in the parks for 4 full days and ending on Fri with the Discover the Magic tour before heading over to Knotts Berry Farm. (we could stay all day and skip Knotts if need be)
We are ok if we do not get to ride the Carsland rides, but I do not want to wait hours to ride small world.

So, what time did everyone finally get on RSR so that they could close the park last night?

According to the Lines app yesterday the waits in Disneyland were reasonable IMO. 20ish minutes most of the day for most things except E tickets. Those were more like 45 minutes.

I doubt it. I have had to get out of line before because we wouldn't have made it on the ride before closing.

I just hope that things die down quickly! We are going June 25th and there is NO WAY I would wait 5+ hours for a ride (2 hours is pushing it).

you only have 9 days till you go and i can say this with certainty...you are going to have loooooooooooooong waits so you should find the fastest person in your party to run to the FP machine as soon as it opens...its not going to get any better for awhile...:confused3

yeah we were told that it was about 45 min to hour wait all day for SR lines....

We just returned from a five day trip to DLR. We did not care to be the first ones into DCA at 9:00 on Friday. We went into DL at 8:00 AM instead and other than Matterhorn issues, were able to ride numerous rides with very little wait. We used FP's to make life easier on the more popular rides. The crowds built as the day went on.

At 3:30 we went into DCA and Carsland. Yes it was crowded but you could move with the flow and shop for merchandise with short waits outside the stores. We were able to ride RSR three times using the single rider line. The actual wait was no more than 40 minutes each time. The single rider line would be my advice until things settle down or you can get in early or get fastpasses. I had one gentleman tell me our single rider wait time was shorter than his fastpass wait. Also rode with a nice family of four who said they were in line 6, yes 6 hours, the ride went down twice while they were waiting. If there are two of you in the SRL, chances are good you will ride in the same car, since parties of 2 and 4 are the most popular groups. RSR/Carsland is/are just amazing, especially at night. The Buena Vista Street area is also outstanding. DCA my new favorite theme park.

Do you think they will let a 12 year old ride alone if we choose to use the SR line? My guess is they won't, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

12 should be fine. I think the minimum age is something like 7, but don't quote me on that.

Awesome, we should be able to get a few rides in on SR for my ds's as they are 7 and 8. What about Child SWap? Anyone have news on that? My dd is 4. We will be there June 26. I will run for FPs upon entry.

Big, big turnout today. DCA opened up early again, and by 8am the line for RSR was extending down the entire length of Carsland. Standby wait estimated at 200 min. Single rider at 1 hour.

When DCA opens early is the whole park open???
