Cars Land lighting

Does Carsland still light up right after sunset? We've never seen it before and are wanting to catch it this summer. Sunset (according to a quick google search anyway) at end of May in Anaheim is supposed be around 7:50pm. So maybe we should arrive at 7:30pm and settle in somewhere in order to make sure we see it? Any advice appreciated!

That's basically it. It's not on a schedule, so look up the sunset time and give yourself at least 15 extra minutes. Don't leave it until your last day, sometimes it doesn't happen so you want a second chance.

You basically got it. The sunset view with the neon lights at Cars Land is great and not to be missed.

This is one of our favorite things. We usually get dinner at Flo's and get a table at the gas pumps. Wait to hear " Life Is But A Dream" then go out to the middle of the street. Then soon after is DJ's Dance Party. The kids love " Dancing In The Street".

Last trip we thought we had time to sneak in (another) Maters ride only to come out with the lights already on...

The lighting ceremony happens at a set time in relation to official sunset each night. Since sunset changes every day, the lighting time changes as well. I was told but unfortunately I can't remember what the time in relation to sunset was for the lights to kick on.
