Carriage Rides...

I've been tooting around today looking at different things and the carriage rides caught my eye. Not the Halloween ones, but the ones from the various resorts that are offered through-out the year.

Anyone ever done any of them? If so, which would you recommend? I have my LO who'll be 3 next trip and I think this would be something she'd enjoy and we have never done it, so would be nice to do

I'm right in thinking they can be pre-booked and are around $45 per trip?

The only one I have actually seen is the one at Port Orleans. We were supposed to do it last trip but I got sick and wasn't up to it.

We did one at POR and it was cute. My kids were 5 and 8 at the time and liked it. Can't remember how much it cost as this was 9 years ago. It's basically just trotting around the resort but nice and relaxing. Having done one I would say it could be quite romantic for a couple. Nice place to propose maybe for anyone looking for an idea!

I quite fancy the wagon ride from Fort Wilderness next trip, maybe because it's a lot cheaper! It's a first come first served and I read a review some time ago that the later one can be timed with the seeing the Electrical Water Pageant. You can also go to the Chip and Dale sing a long up there of an evening.

Daughter did the horse riding trail there last year and really enjoyed it plus hired a sky racer from the marina there, I like to just sit on the beach. It's so peaceful up there and as far removed from the Disney bubble as you can get.

I looked at the Wagon rides too...they look interesting. And now you've thrown in the electrical water pagent I may have to look into this option too! DD would like that I'm sure!
