Carriage ride

I have booked a carriage ride as a surprise for DH. I booked the latest time to coincide with Wishes at the end of the ride. They have now changed the times for Wishes to 9pm, instead or 10pm. I know it's not all about me, and things like this happen. What I'm wondering, is the opportunity to watch Wishes from the carriage special enough to try to change the time? I'm not even sure, if the earlier time is available, but I could always call and see. I'm just not sure if it would be worth the trouble. What do you think? TIA

Personally, I would do an earlier ride, then after the ride is over walk down to the beach and sit & watch the fireworks from there!

Okay, I called and 8:30pm isn't available. They had 8pm & 9pm. If I rebook for 9pm, will we be able to watch Wishes form the carriage prior to beginning the ride, or would our ride actually start late, because of the 8:30pm ride watching Wishes, prior to returning? I suppose we could watch Wishes from the beach prior to our 9:30 ride. I called and was told we were welcome to bring champagne & chocolates for the ride. I already have a Mickey ice bucket for the champagne as another surprise for DH, and I don't know about carrying that stuff on the beach. Can you tell my brain is on overload right now. I was so thrilled that all my plans were finally set for what we wanted, and now I have a kink in the plan. What to do?????

I would bring the champagne & other stuff down to the beach. Here's a hint: When you get to the beach, grab a couple of beach chairs and carry them all the way down the beach to the right. Go all the way down the beach to where the light stops. You'll be sitting in the dark, it's very romantic, and you'll have a beautiful view of Wishes from there! It's like your own private viewing area!! (But - don't tell anyone this secret or EVERYBODY will be there, and it won't be private anymore!!)

Afterwards, you can still go on the 9:30 carriage ride if you want to!
