Just wanted to remind everyone, when searching for a good rate don't forget about carrentalsavers.com. Just back yesterday, and had no problems (needing paper coupons or anything) w/my ressie thru this site. Had a full-size, 7 day rental w/Alamo for a total of $73.89!!!

We're you able to use the kiosk or did you have to stop at the counter?

I must not know how to work this! I've never been able to get a good rate to show up. I just tried again and it's showing a lot higher than just going directly to the car rental site. Maybe it's because we are "stuck" with using Hertz since we are flying into Lakeland.

Thanks for posting this...I just got a standard car for $82 per week for a two week rental for Alamo at MCO. You and this site, saved us ton of money! :)

Yes, we were able to use the kiosk!!. On the email confirmation u receive from carrentalsavers, there is the Alamo confirmation #. I just worked off that to be able to use the kiosk.

Wow, that seems really great! Just looked up the site now, and it seems like I'm able to get a care for £180 cheaper than if I rent through the site I originally thought was very cheap :lmao: It would be a little bit more as I need a GPS though...

But those prices seems to include the insurance I need with the car, is that right? And am I able to book a GPS through that site, or would I have to ask for one when I pick up the car and pay for that then? I would prefer to reserve a GPS as my fear is that I pick up the car and there's no GPS's left and I won't have a clue how to get where I want

It doesn't include the insurance. I looked at the small print on the bottom and insurance will be an additional fee. Make sure you are looking on the correct site as well..I was on the US site, so the price was listed in US dollars. We have used uscarhire and we will continue to use them because they include the extra insurance in their quoted price and it has saved us money in the past. I don't see the savings when I look on this site...maybe I am doing something wrong?

The previous poster is correct that the US site does not include insurance, but if you are booking on their international site and coming from the UK the prices do include insurance. I had a look, and you can also select different packages that include GPS. If your rate was displayed in pounds you are looking at the right place.

Yeah I did look at the UK site, but I couldn't find anything about a GPS. Even when I tried to start a booking... The FAQ page didn't work though, the link was wrong.

It looks like you have to select a package that includes GPS. Scroll down on the rate page and look for something that says inclusive with GPS.

I also scored a great deal thru carrentalsavers.com. $43 for 5 day staring this friday with Alamo thru the Sanford airport. This was about $40 cheaper than anywhere else I tried and I only got the deal one day to pop up. It never came up any other days I checked. For our dates when I first started checking rates were anywhere from $120-130 went as low as $80 with some other sites.

S happy to use this site. Just rented a car for 6 days totaling $62!! Yippeeee!

Where do you enter coupon codes on this site???

let the site work for you. Go up to the tabs and choose what you want to price -costco, amex or visa etc. then fill in your dates, it plugs in the codes.

I've been checking only Alamo's site for weeks for my dates from 6/23-6/30 and the cheapest I've found is around $300! I really loved using Alamo because I got to pick out my own car and use the kiosk, so I enjoyed not having to stop at the desk. But, I refuse to pay this much for a rental.

So, I just checked out carrentalsavers.com for the first time and I got a Dollar rental for $134 total for the week! I've never rented with Dollar before, but I've heard good things.

My trip is still a ways away so I am going to keep my eye on Alamo, but if they don't come down in price I'm satisfied with the Dollar rental.
