we have a trip to florida sept 24 - oct2
has anyone ever rental a car through carrentalsavers.com?
i have booked a fullsize car from enterprise through southwest.com for 245, i have rebooked it a couple times because the price has gone down a little bit.
it went from about 280 to 245 same company, same dates.
on carrentalsavers.com I found a premium car from alamo for 213, but i've never booked through them.

are there cancellation fees if i find a better deal somewhere else later on?

is alamo better then enterprise?

what kind of deposit do i have to leave alamo? (national last year only needed proof of a round trip plane ticket)

how do alamo self check in spots work?

how about adavantage?? ever try them? through southwest its only 220 for a fullsize.

we have a credit card but it only has a 300 limit is that going to matter??

should i not even worry about trying to save 30 bucks and just be happy with what i have

I have a full size booked with Alamo for 9/25 to 10/1 for $160 with all taxes and fees. I am hoping as we come closer to our dates to get that down to around $100 (that is what the same time frames earlier in Sept are running). I do occasionally check rates on carrentalsavers.com and have never come close to what I can get booking directly on Alamos website.Join their "insiders" program, its free, and use the codes and coupons and you should be able to get a better rate especially as we get closer. Check out the other couple of threads on this board for more tips on getting a great rate for Sept and Oct.

I used them last year and everything went smoothly. I rented a Mustang convertible for $150 for a week in January.

No problems what so ever. I have also rented from both Alamo and National and never had to present anything like return plane tickets. Just show up with my confirmation number and credit card and drivers license and away I go.
