Carol Burnett Show marathon

Is anyone else watching the Carol Burnett Show marathon on TV Land this weekend? This show still makes me laugh! I love it when Tim Conway gets Harvey Korman to crack up during a skit.

Why don't they make shows like this anymore?????

I've been watching on and off all day! It's a classic show that's still funny today!

DH and I watched it most of the day! We both love that show!! I love it when Mama is on, she is so funny!! The skit where they play "Sorry" at Mama's house is my absolute favorite one!

I've been watching on and off all day too, that used to be one of my fav. shows, and it still cracks me up!! I love the way they crack up at the way they lose it and start laughing!

I saw that yesterday. My 16 yr old even sat down and watched with me and laughed her head off. I agree, there should be more shows like Carol's. I guess there are few with the talent the cast of her show has around any more. I wish they would show it on a regular basis though.

Yes.
My 10 yo DD is now hopelessly hooked on this great show because of the marathon. In fact, she loves it so much now we ordered the Gunthy-Renker dvd's! Reminds me of the time a few years ago when our DS was about 8, he was watching I Love Lucy" (he'd never seen it before) on Nick and turned to my wife as she entered the room and stated "Ma, you ever see this lady? She's pretty funny!!!" The classics sure do endure.

My DD (11) and I are watching it right now. I used to love that show when I was a kid. I'm shocked that DD likes it. She actually asked if the marathon was still going on and we put it on.

Yes! I've been watching it some today. I told DH that's the first time in a long long time I've laughed out loud watching TV. I watched it growing up too.

They were so talented! I can't think of any comedians that can compare today.
