Ugg.. this is why I can not stand VMK Pass.
My issue with it is this:
Back when they had the 50 person line limit, it was not that easy to get in line. But it was possible. And once you were in line, you had a strong chance of getting into the game and being able to play, leaving it (mostly) up to skill or luck in game, rather than whether or not the DC Sniper had it's sights trained on you. Now, when this DC Sniper (I refer to it as that a lot) was finally taken down, I would might have not had a problem with this. But the last time I played ( not too long ago) lo and behold, DC was back with a better scope. Now, VMK Pass, in my opinion is a good idea. Woo for that, you no longer have to wait for the 10-20 minutes it (usually) takes to get through a fifty person line, but with the line cap now gone, I'm beginning to get flashbacks of the Halloween 2005 event, only now the line of 600 or so has brought friends. And we're supposed to stay in a line of 1000+ people, even walking around the game, and not DC? Absurd.
Anyway, the prizes for this look rather good, but I think I'll pass on the Line Event.

Personally, I think it's to drive people insane.
"Well, you could play a quest, but you can also buy something, but not both. Choose wisely, for now this: whatever choice you make, you'll always have a little voice in the back of your head going 'You should have gone for the other one! It would have been much more awesome!' What could have been behind door number two? Where would you be if you had taken the other path at the crossroads. You will never know. And this knowledge will haunt you for the rest of your life."

If you need me, I'll be either playing God of War or a Gun Game on CS. Both are tons more fun than waiting in a line.

I haven't moved a virtual muscle in over five minutes..why do they do these buy something or do quest things?
