Ok, the dw is a little upset are Carmel Apples OFF the free dining snack list in all of the parks?

I tried to get a caramel apple at Goofy's in Downtown Disney and they said they were NOT considered a snack I was so bummed!

We were there last week and I tried a few places and were told that ONLY the Candy Apples were on the DP Snack credit, NOT the Caramel Apple

The caramel apples at Goofy's are considered "speciality apples" and are $8.95 each, but once you dip them in chocolate and roll them in pecans and drizzle in caramel, they are totally worth it. One is enough to share and is worth the OOP splurge.

Well there has to be something in there that is addicting because I have to buy one everytime we walk in there.

Last year we were able to buy caramel ones(not fancy) at The Candy Cauldron at DTD. Don't know if that's true this year but we will check it out in Sept.

According to this thread http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2067447 you can still get caramel apples at Starring Rolls at DHS. It also says you can still get them at Goofy's kitchen though, so maybe removing them from the Snacks list is a park wide decision.

We were also told no to the carmel apples in Goofy's candy co. However, we were able to get one for a snack credit at the candy counter in FrontierLand in the MK. Not sure of the name of the shop.

It was explained to me that you can still get a plain caramel apple at Goofy's or with nuts only with a snack credit but not the speciality ones. Its definitely still available at Starring rolls someone just posted pictures of all the yummy items available in the food porn thread recently.

Yeah! And I will check out Candy Cauldron in Sept.
