Caribbean Excursions

We are traveling next March with a large group: 5 kids (3, 9, 9, 11, 13), 2 senior citizens (one who uses a wheelchair, but can take a few steps), and 5 other adults.

We don't plan on doing everything together, but if we can find some excursions everyone can do/ will like, that would be great. Our stops are CocoCay, Falmouth, Georgetown, and Cozumel.

Some of us are doing the Waterpark at CocoCay and some of us are planning to do the turtle farm in Georgetown.

1) Is the Turtle excursion wheelchair accessible? We would need to be able to use the wheelchair to get to the bus and get around at the destination, but could board the bus.

2) Any excursions that would be a good fit in Falmouth or Cozumel?

That's a wide range of ages and I'm not sure I can help, but I'm going to give you my thoughts...

1) It looks like there are three turtle farms in Georgetown. I've been to one of them, but it was over 10 years ago, so I'm not sure which one (and I don't remember how HC friendly it is). I suggest reaching out to your tour operator, finding out which one they go to, then contacting the farm itself and look to Trip Advisor.

2) DW & I went to Falmouth on our first cruise, but couldn't find anything that really interested us, so we got off, walked around some shops, then got back on the ship. For Cozumel, we've done Chankanaab a couple of times. There's snorkling, restaurants, sea lion show, and I think other activities. This might be good for the wide age range you have. Our cruise last year we did ATV riding, which was a blast, but our ages were 18-52. Don't think it would work well in your situation.

I suggest going to Viator, put in each stop and see what activities they have listed.

Thank you so much for your reply. I did not know there were multiple turtle farms so I guess figuring out which one we are touring is step 1.

I will browse Viator for ideas for the other ports.
