I read there is a coffee maker in the rooms at the CBR resort, do you have to pay for them like a refrigerator? Thinking we will bring our own coffee and use the coffee maker.

When we stayed at Caribbean Beach, we had to pay for our Coffee each day...I don't drink Coffee, but DH does and it was more of a convienence thing then having to go to OPR to get some...I can't remember the price of it, but it was marked on each packet so you can see before opening it...

I drink a lot of coffee and always bring my own from home. In fact I just packed a zip-lock bag full (along with a plastic spoon),this morning for my upcoming trip to CBR this Tuesday! This will be my third stay at CBR and I bring along some coffeemate too, but usually get creamers in the food court and ice them down overnight.

...I thought that I was the only one nuts enough(just kidding!! )to get the little half'n'half creamers and put them in the ice bucket for the next morning!!!! I usually bring my own coffee in a zip-lock bag, as well as some laundry detergent (not in the same bag - lol!!!) I bring just enough so there is nothing to bring back home...

We just got back from the CB last night. It was a great resort. The coffee maker is in the room with the coffee packs. They are $1.00 each. The have the creamer powder in the packet. They have a large vat of creamer at the food court now so they may have gotten rid of the individual cream cups. I bought a pint of milk and kept it in ice in the room.

Andy,
Just got back today from Dw and stayed at the CBR. We also took our own coffee and filters and were surprised to find a full 10cup maker instead of the small four cup maker in our room. I had packed the cone shaped 4 cup filters so we ended up having to use the packets in the room. They are 1.14 for each packet, however we were never charged for it. We had great housekeeping service.

When we stayed at CBR in November, we were never charged for the coffee packs. However, I wasn't impressed with their coffee. Next time I will bring my own coffee.

...the rooms at CBR have 10-cup coffee makers?? If so, that's great!!! (I will have to remember to bring along the bigger filters....) SeaSpray, maybe you could help me on this.....
