No resorts really have "deluxe" rooms. There are deluxe resorts, but not deluxe rooms. The deluxe resorts have concierge rooms (if you consider that deluxe). Otherwise some resorts have suites (Allstar music and deluxe resorts). Aside from that I was not aware of any resorts that had different types of rooms. I thought they were all the same except for view, conceirge service (room is the same though) and suites. Some one please correct me if I am wrong.

At the CBR you can get a standroom with 2 double beds, a standroom room with a king bed, a waterview room or a preferred room. You pay extra for everything except standard with 2 double beds.

Not quite right....there are different types of room configurations at the various resorts, and there is a room category called 'deluxe' at AKL and WL.

At CBR, the only differences in the room categories are in location and view. The rooms are all the same, except that some have two double beds and some have one king bed. Oh, and the corner rooms have two windows.

A Preferred room at CBR means that it's located close to Old Port Royale, where the eateries and main pool are.

A Waterview room has a view of some sort of body of water, whether it's a pool or a lake. Many say that the waterview rooms at the moderates aren't worth the extra money, as you don't have a balcony. Your room opens out on to an external corridor, kind of like a motel. It's kind of tough to see much of a view from your room, since if you leave the curtains open, passersby will be able to see in.

You learn something new every day! I didn't realize there were "deluxe" rooms at AKL or WL. I always thought the only difference was basically views and bed types. What do the "deluxe" rooms offer at AKL/WL that the others don't?

coronado springs has the standards, preferred, water view along with Jr suites, one and two room suites.
