Great pics, thanks. We arrive on Sat, 14th and I have read alot of mixed reviews. This is the first trip my husband and I aren't taking the kids - so we decided to upgrade to a moderate and now I am rethinking it. UGH! We'll I hope I am not diappointed.

Anyone else have pictures here recently I would love to see them.

CBR seems to be a love-it-or-hate-it resort. Many of us love the lush tropical theming, how the resort feels uncrowded even during peak season, and the central location. Others don't like the distance to the food court and main pool.

Unless the food court is your top priority, you won't regret the upgrade from a Value resort.

You will absolutely love this resort. So beautiful and peaceful compared to a value resort. You will love the walkway around the lake and bridges going to OPR. Really makes you feel like you are in FL. LOL, not sure where you are from, but for us coming from the cold Midwest it is heavenly.

We got back Thursday from the coldest Orlando weather we've ever experienced! I knew what was coming and we packed accordingly, but we really weren't prepared for the below 20 degree WIND CHILL...BRRRRRRRR:eek:

CBR was great! We stayed in a refurbished room in Building 43 of Jamaica, and the brilliant sunshine made for good picture-taking. As I upload them I'll post them over the next few days. Here's the first batch:

Thanks for the awesome pics, 17 more days for us......popcorn::

Last year we were booked 10 months in advance for October. Then one day in February my husband comes home from work and tells me his work will be slow for a month and could we go to Disney the following week instead of waiting until October. :scared: I had less than two weeks to make arrangements. We did it and had a great time. Only downfall was not being able to get all of the ADR's we wanted, but otherwise it was fine. Have a great trip! :goodvibes

Well if you can do it in 10 days :scared1: We should be able to do it in 46. I'm calling today to make adr's. Crossing fingers that we get all we wanted. Thanks!

There are tons of recent pictures (Jan 20-27) in my review ~ the link is on my signature.

Enjoy! :goodvibes

I'll apologize in advance because I'm sure this question is asked on a regular basis, but I just don't have time to wade through 240+ pages of posts!

We're trying to decide between CBR and POR for our upcoming trip in March (we have 2 nights AKL CL and were going to be offsite for the rest, but just realized it is the same price to do the remaining week at a mod w/ DDP). Anyway, if we do go with CBR, what room locations are closest to the main pool that have already been redone? Are these all Nemo rooms?

Are there any pics of the Nemo rooms and also of the new pool somewhere? I did go through several pages, but I didn't see anything yet! Thanks so much for all your help!

All the villages have been completed except for Trinidad North and South. Closest to OPR that are done would be Martinique - if booking preferred and Aruba & Jamaica - if booking standard.

There are several pictures in my review - the link is in my signature - of the new Nemo room and the new pools. :goodvibes

Thanks Momof2DB and safetymom. You have both convinced me . . . I just booked CBR!! I was concerned because I had been reading several posts about the grounds not being kept up with and the rooms being in poor condition, but based on those pics I think everything looks beautiful!

Thanks again!

My SIL and comind down for the Princess Half Marathon and we will arrive at CBR in exactly 3 weeks and 1 day!!! This is my first time staying here and I can't wait! My DH and I stayed at CSR in January so I can't wait to try this one out. I really like the theming!

Does anyone who recently stayed at CBR know what type of refillable mugs they have? Is it resort specific or still the YOMD ones?

Thanks!
Stacie

:cool1: Man, I can't wait! We have our hotel Rev here. We also did the Pirate theme room. I know my lil man will love it. Too bad I haven't seem many picture of it.

Hello! We are staying at CBR at the end of March and I saw we have a credit for the arcade. My ds would probably be happy to spend all his time there, so I was wondering where it was so maybe we could try to avoid it until the last couple of days. I know we can obviously just tell him no, but he is obsessed and will drive us nuts! He loves video games, so I'm hoping it's kind of out of the way. Also, how big is it and what exactly is the voucher for? One free game? Thanks! We are excited for our trip and I'm constantly reading this thread for all the great info!

We got the 30 minute arcade card on our recent trip. We have 2 kids and they each played several games with the card. They were thrilled that there were Star Wars games there! The arcade is right off of the gift shop, across from the concierge desk.

We were able to keep them from noticing it until we were ready to take them in there on our last night!

Congrats on booking CBR! :goodvibes :thumbsup2 The grounds were beautiful when we were there just a few weeks ago. They even had a hard frost the one night and the groundskeepers were out the next morning taking care of everything. We were very impressed with how quickly it was taken care of. And you sure won't find a better pool! :cool1:
