We will be at CBR Nov 22-28. Will the weather allow us to swim during that time period? We are in the process of making our shirts just want to know so we can make t-shirts or long sleeve t-shirts.

We were there last Nov. and the weather was perfect for swimming :thumbsup2

Yes, last November was perfect for swimming, but in 2006 the weather so cold that we bought the kids gloves to wear.

Just check the weather forecast about a week before you go,

You're WELCOME!

JUST PAYING IT FORWARD!!

Couldbeme, thank you for the pics. I booked our next stay at CBR because I thought we should try something besides POR. Basically booked it off of pics of the pool, but your pics are getting me more excited about the whole place. Now, if Labor Day 2009 will hurry up and get here!!!!

Has anyone done this?

What info do you need to include on the fax (other than your name and requested room!)?

When should the fax be sent?

What success rate is there?

I know, too many questions......:rotfl:

Bump! I would like to know this also.

If you have the information in your reservation with your requests there is no need to fax. Most resorts don't bother with the faxes.

I hate making decisions!:rotfl2: I was all set and ready to book our vacation at Pop, but I had to go looking at other options. Now I really want to stay at CBR. I just need to convince my dh it's worth the extra $. My boys would love the new pirate rooms! Help!! Is it worth the extra money? In other words, please help me convince dh.

We decided to split our vacation between 2 hotels, a value & CB pirate theme. DH is NOT one to be inconvienced. But, when I told him we'ld save over $400, he was on board. If you want more info on how it works etc. PM me.

As you've probably read a few times by now, CBR is truly a vacation within a vacation - you won't be sorry! The rooms are larger (340 sq ft, POR/FQ/CSR are 315, POP is 260), than other moderate resorts. Rooms are in the process of being refurbished, brand new main pool and all villages have a quiet pool. ::yes::

Pirate rooms will be more expensive and the furthest away from Old Port Royale, but what a treat for your boys. ::yes::

Although we do not find the food court to be one of the best, it is still fine.

The ambiance of the resort is incredible. I've never understsood why POR has won awards and yet not CBR.

POP is a fun resort, but the rooms are in need of refurbishment - even though the resort is only a few yrs old, it's one of the busiest on property and sold out more often than almost any other, so it gets a lot of wear and tear.

Whichever you choose, have fun planning and a wonderful trip! :goodvibes

I have to say, the CBR is your best bet HANDS DOWN! I have stayed there every year that I have gone since it opened. It is an absolutely beautiful resort. The pool is one of the best (especially now refurbished). Your boys would love the pirate rooms, but they'd also love the pool. Besides the fact that the rooms are bigger, the pool area alone will be much more fun for your children. I don't know about Pop, but CBR had the lagoon that you could rent a water craft and take them out for a bit. All in all, your boys will have a great time at CBR, but they're in Disney so they'll have fun anyway. This resort, in my opinion, is much preferable from an adult perspective with it's beautiful lagoon, the sunrise/sunset (whichever way you are facing) is amazing. It's like being on a Carribean vacation while also being at Disney. Best of both worlds!

Whichever you decide, you will definitely have a good time. Good luck and enjoy your trip!

Hey Winkers! I'm staying there at the end of the month so I'll be able to give you my impressions when we get back!
