This is the newer white bedding with a strip on the nemo print on base. Walls here are blue except one wall is green. The frig was unplugged. No note, no one explained so I plugged it in and am using :confused3(works fine).

I love the bed runner. Still has some Nemo feel to it.

Hello!:wave2:

I am also fairly new to these boards but I can at least let you know how I did it. I made my CBR room requests when I did online check-in. This process becomes available to you once your arrival day is less than 60 days away. You are only allowed two requests online (for example, I requested Aruba/second floor).

I've read that you can also have your travel agent make a note of your requests on your reservation (probably in order of importance) or you can call Disney yourself with the requests.

Just remember, these are only requests and not guaranteed.

Thank you!! I didn't use a TA so do I call the resort directly or the number I use for reservations?

Hi,
This is my first post here and I have a few questions about CBR. I have stayed at most resorts on property but CBR never really appealed to me. However, I am staying there for my first time in October. Now convince me to ignore bad reviews I have read, and love it. We are staying in a pirate room and will have a car so I'm not real concerned about the location.

1.My grandson is very excited about staying there because he saw pictures of the water playground shaped like a pirate ship. The problem is he is 50 inches tall and the height limit is 48 inches. He is only 6 but very tall for his age. Will he be allowed on the water slides? Will it make a difference if he is with his 3 year old sister?

2. We will be getting the refillable mugs. I read that the only place to get refills is at the food court. Is that true?

3. Does the marshmallow roast take place every night?

Thanks for answering my questions and again, please convince me to ignore the negative reviews. After all, I will be at WDW.

Hi .... wasn't sure if you'd know who I am! Do the mugs have the RFID chips in them? Or do you remember what color they are? If they are pink, blue or black they are the old ones. New ones are green, purple, and orange. Thanks for helping me!!!! RCers are the best!!! :thumbsup2

Have fun!!! Loving your pictures!!!
Yes the Marie always makes me smile. Dd wore that for a costume ages 4, 5 and 6!

The colors are the blue black and teal here. Not the RFID ones.

Some more pics coming soon!

Having a great time. During storm at 2p we snuck to small pool in Trinidad N and swam for 20 minutes or so. The pool was empty! Could be due to the thunder;)

The deep end was 6ft! NICE!!! Finally thunder got close so got out:rolleyes1

First they brought Dani a birthday ballon and card from Mickey then Mousekeeping made a bouquet out of washcloths :goodvibes

Tomorrow is last day. Having a preferred room has been worth it. Very close to Center Town.

Our room number is 3123. It is in the courtyard with tables and umbrellas I previously posted. This is the smoking section and would be an convenient spot for you or family members that smoke. I was afraid I would smell the smoke but was not a problem.

Any refrigerators in the rooms? We go next week and I've ordered from garden grocer so I'm really hoping the new ones are in!

1. In 4 trips I have seen them measure and remove one child from the splash area and, sad to say, he deserved it. He was running around splashing the younger kids and scaring them. Your grandson should be fine.

2. That is correct.

3. Yep.

I just booked CBR for Nov and were really excited love Christmas time at Disney but now I have a couple of questions after reading this thread... So there's no refrigerator in the rooms? I've stayed at other moderate resorts and that was part of the room. Does CBR decorate for the holiday? When do the parks all decorate in Nov for Christmas? Is it the same time as MK? Last ? is it hard to get around CBR ill will just had foot surgery and will be on crutches for short distances and in a wheelchair for everything else?
