If this is any help, great. Each bldg. has a courtyard with tables, umbrellas and chairs. We always ask for a room on the court so our 12yr. old daughter can sleep in the a.m. as we are early risers. My wife and I can have coffee in the courtyard just outside the room waiting for her to wake up and she knows where we are.

Just be aware that the courtyards are designated smoking areas. Other than that the courtyard view rooms are great.

I never knew that. We haved stayed there four times and have always had a courtyard. Must have been lucky as I never saw anyone smoke. But thank you for the heads up. Have a great day safetymom. Thanks for this great thread as CBR is our favorite, bar none.

Leaving in 24 hours for CBR...has anyone had experience with the high school spring training at disneys wide world of sports?

Just booked CBR for our trip in November. It will be our first time at this resort and we are really excited!! :cool1:

Hello fellow CBR lovers! We have a room only reservation for two nights at the CBR immediately followed by an eight night package at the CBR. When I spoke with the Disney Travel castmember, he said that he made a notation on the reservation that we have a "continuing" stay so that we may not have to change rooms when we check out from our room only reservation and check into our package reservation. Have any of you done this and been able to stay in the same room?

We have with the same notation, but at a different resort. They let us keep the same room the entire time. Dh just went down to check us in the morning of the change. We even had a standard/preferred difference in the stays, but they bumped the standard to keep from relocating us. Hope you don't have to move!

We were originally scheduled to stay at POR for two nights and then switch over to the CBR for the remaining 8 nights. But, after we thought about it, we knew we would rather stay at the CBR the entire time. Hopefully, they can keep us in the same room and we won't have to switch.

Sounds like a good plan! I'd much rather stay at one resort the entire time myself. I'm sure it's easier for them to keep you in one spot anyway. Have fun! So jealous that you're staying for ten nights!!

We are CBR lovers all the way but, since free dining didn't start until the day after we were originally scheduled to arrive, we figured we'd try something new (POR) for that one night. Then, we added another night to the vacation which meant we'd be at POR two nights. Our two "do nothing" days were becoming more complicated (at least in our minds) and that was defeating the purpose of adding the days.

When my husband and I talked about it he said "Do you really think that a stay at Port Orleans is going to change our minds and make us want to stay there in the future?" to which I said "No". Thus, the decision was made to just stay at the CBR the entire time.

I am so excited to be going back to the CBR and the extra days. This is our longest stay to date.

Hello everyone!

I've been lurking on this thread for a while, and I was wondering if anyone knew when or if CBR is scheduled to get a refurb and add queen sized beds just as the other mods are/have? TIA. :goodvibes

Checked in at 6am and our room was ready. Got Aruba 51 2nd floor as requested.

Just back from CBR...Very dissapointed...rooms were very worn. stains on bed ruffles. Walls and showers need cleaned. We were there with a baseball team or we would have moved. There are way to many bus stops at this hotel. Food court was great..lots of choices. If I were going on a family vacation i would not choose this hotel.

Stayed at POR Alligator Bayou twice and LOVE LOVE that resort !!
Wanted to try a different one (mod, of course)
Sorry, we cannot justify the prices of a Deluxe, just crazy IMO

Anywhos....CBR looks so nice, hopefully the rooms aren't really dingy and old

Arriving Sept 29th for 8 Nights !! Longest WDW stay ever !!

SILLY QUESTION FOR CBR EXPERTS:
I Have GOT to have my coffee in the morning, love my cup o' java joe

HOWEVER, I HAVE to have my flavored coffee creams, ya' know the ones
Is there any at CBR food court ??? Can you purchase at the gift shop ???
We are flying so I cannot bring with me
HELP !!! Oh, and not renting a car....Just curious what CBR has

Now My Cute DD wants to pick out Smilie Dudes:

Does anyone know off hand how much it is to wash and dry at the laundry facilities at CBR? I am trying to get my quarters in order for our trip and want to make sure I have enough!

TIA
