How far out should I make a request regarding location? I did book a standard room. On our honeymoon we were in Aruba and loved the location. We were thinking of Aruba or Martinique. Any suggestions are appreciated! :confused3
There's no reason to wait to make a request. Requests are noted on the reservation by the central reservations staff, and then it's up to the resort cast members as to whether your requests will be met. So call and add the request now.

When you arrive at the front desk, nicely ask if your requests were granted, and if they weren't, nicely ask if they can be. Make sure to do this before the room is actually assigned to you (that is, before they make the room keys).

We will be arriving at CBR on June 19th for a seven night stay. This will be our first stay at CBR and I did book a preferred room. Other than that, is there any other request I should know about?

That's all we ever do, and we love CBR!!! Just get ready to have a wonderful time!! :cool1:

All buildings are two floors - and no elevators. So if stairs would be a problem for you, you can request the first floor. I, personally, prefer the second floor.

My family is headed to Carribean Beach in July for a free dining trip!!! My brother is taking his family as well and the 3 kids going have no idea and won't until we leave for the airport :rotfl2:

We have only stayed there once before in 2004 for our honeymoon, so it will be nice to be back. We normally stick with the values, but decided to splurge this time :cool1:

Yep! I got an email w/a PIN! Saved us all a bunch of money -I was pretty excited!

I had my TA put in a request for ground floor (we did book preferred). Turns out that I tore a calf muscle at the end of March and was told it could take 3-6 MONTHS to heal (MONTHS. What the heck!). At that point, I was 3 months and a week away from Disney... so I figured better safe than sorry! (Will know, when we get closer, if I'll need to get a wheelchair or ECV to get around the parks, but I hope not.) Apparently, going down stairs is about the worst thing you can do with a calf muscle tear. Figures. All of my injures have left me able to go up stairs, but never down.

I'm so looking forward to checking out a new resort!

AWESOME FUN! we are doing the Free Dining in June for two weeks. Yippee! less than 45 days!

Is there wireless?

Is the internet usage free or what are the charges?

Is there internet in the rooms?

Thanks in advance for your input!

Wow this thread is so helpful! Next month will be my first stay at CBR and this thread has made me feel like I'm already there!

Question - are the villiage pools really open until midnight?

The pools are acutally open all night. :thumbsup2 The Village pools have no lifeguards and with the main pool they go off duty at 10pm, then its swim at your own risk type of thing. :goodvibes

Hello everyone!

I've been lurking on this thread for a while, and I was wondering if anyone knew when or if CBR is scheduled to get a refurb and add queen sized beds just as the other mods are/have? TIA. :goodvibes

Well all the rooms at CBR were refurbed about 2 years ago, i havent heard anything about them getting queen beds yet, maybe if someone else knows anything they can chime in. :goodvibes

No Wireless.
$9.95 or something less than $10.00 per 24 hours.
Yes the connection is in the room and very easy to connect.

Maybe it depends on the time of year you go, but when we were there last August, the lifeguards went off-duty (and more importantly...closed the slides and pirate ship play area :sad2:) at 8pm. As stated, the pool itself and the hot tubs remain open 24/7 though.

Forgive me if this has been asked recently. I'm wondering, for anyone who has been there in the past couple of months, do they have greek yogurt at the food court or just the regular Yoplait? Thanks! :goodvibes

Good question! I'm curious to know this as well. Chobani in particular!
