I saw somewhere back in the last 179 pages something about taking your own coffee filters. Why was that again ?

Thanks

Thanks Kim. Decided to go the grocer root based on above. We are stopping in Buffalo before our flight so will grab most of our snacks then and use grocer for beverages and Rye. So how do you end up paying for the liquour ? I assume you pay online for the other stuff and they bill you for the Rye on another invoice ?
Actually, you must give them your credit card info upfront, for everything. They will show you, without the liquor, what your total is, but you basically get charged for everything, including the liquor, AFTER it's delivered. In previous communications with them, they told me they shop the best they can, and pass along that price to you (on liquor). Mind you, it's not the cheapest, but it IS delivered to your room! :drinking1

:)

Hello,

Sorry if this has been covered but I can't go through the 100 pages of this post right now. :-)

We are staying at CBR in October. We are not paying for a preferred room but I want to request something close to the food court and such if possible. I know requests are not always given but they are worth a shot. I was thinking of the following building requests:

Jamaica 45
Aruba 51
Martinique 24

Are they the closest without being preferred rooms? Of the three....is there a better one?

Thanks a bunch.

I bring my own filters because we take our own coffee. :goodvibes
And, they are the 4 cup coffee makers.
I just don't like that Nescafe coffee, I need my (real)coffee
in the morning !! :surfweb:

Afraid Martinique 24 is preferred also. The standard rooms in Martinique are 23, 22, and 21. The preferred rooms are in Trinidad North 31, 32, 33 and Martinique 26, 25, and 24. I was in a preferred room in Martinique 24 on the back side nearest building 22. The distance between the two wasn't that far, so I'd go with Martinique 22. It would be fairly close to Old Port Royal and very close to both the Martinique bus stop and the quiet pool.

Not sure that you would love it as much as the poly...but it is a nice resort. I find it to be a more relaxed, quieter resort than the values. You can certainly hang around the resort on your off days. One thing I really do like about the moderates is the food court... This resort has quite a few bus stops (When I stay here & rent a car I still take the bus to MK).
My thoughts with the Poly..you'd still have to take a bus to get to 1/2 of the other parks.

For us $1000 is alot of money if I'm not 100% this is where I have to stay.

I'm sure that most people will love the CBR - it's relaxing, quiet but yet lots to do and see - even if you take a day off from the parks.
My husband absolutely HATES, HATES, HATES to travel but last year I talked him into a Disney trip (our previous one had been in 1991) and we stayed at CBR. The grounds and hotel were enough to have him admitting before we even left that he would like to go back as he really enjoyed the resort and the trips to the quiet pool (we were in Trinidad North)....

Its been many years since we have stayed at the CBR. After reading some of the posts, it looks like its time to give it another chance. Please don't tell anyone, but the deluxe resorts, are not worth the extra money.:rolleyes1

I've never been able to justify the extra money that it cost to stay deluxe when I am perfectly happy with staying at the CBR.

I hope you'll give the CBR another chance!

Thanks for the feedback! In the end, money talks and I had cash to be PIF for our June trip at CBR, so CBR it is. If I happen to come into an extra $800 before June, maybe I'll upgrade, but for that money, I just had to get a new laptop and an iPhone. ;)

I also want to add my husband does NOT LOVE Disney, but as we were discussing making a decision between the mods, he agreed CBR sounds like a great choice this year as we're going in the summer, and POFQ would be better next year when we plan to go in the fall or at Christmas time. So, saving $, PIF, and DH talking about a 2011 trip, all in one day??? This is a GREAT day!

Thanks Kim, we will be placing the order in the next day or so as we only have 6 days till we go. Thanks for the input

Does anyone know how soon I should use the online check in for CBR ? And I guess the big question is how do I do it ?

Thanks

Are all rooms Nemo themed now, and do they all have flat screened TVs? Coming down in September...just curious on what to expect!! The next 6 months can't go by fast enough!!!! :)

If DHS opens for 9am on Star Wars Weekend and i want to leave for 7:30am, will the busses be running by then?

thanks

This is probably on here somewhere, but I'll ask anyway. I was looking at the resort map on wdwinfo.com and it hard to tell....can you walk from CBR to the world showcase? We've booked a preferred room for late Nov thru early Dec. Don't really want to walk more than we have to, but sometimes it might be faster than waiting for a bus. Let me know if anyone's done this and about how long it takes.

Thanks!

No you can't walk to Epcot. Well I guess you could but I wouldn't want to do it. LOL
