My DH and I have a friend in England. He sends us different things. We would like to send him a few things this time. I would like something that he may not be able to get himself. I would love any suggestions you may have!
Thank you in advance

Oreos and Hershey's are hard to find over here and very expensive if you can find them. Salt Water Taffy doesn't exist here and things like pretzels are hard to find (not that they'd travel too well I guess.)

Hi there!

What a nice idea :)

We like Oreos (particularly the more exotic flavours), Milano Cookies, and all the lovely chocolate (candy) bars you can't get over here (let me know if you need a list!). A packet of pancake or waffle mix always goes down a treat as well. Paydays (if they like peanuts) are a favourite of mine and lots of the Russell Stover candy is delicious :)

Hope that helps a little!

Karen

Miffy---- Please send me a list. Our DF does not eat alot of sweets, but we
would not mind if he shares with his friends and family anything he does not like. Pancake mix is a wonderful idea. It will ship very well. I like everything everyone has shared. Thanks to everyone!!

Hi Chip & Dale,

Me and DH have compiled a list for you :) but I'm sure we've forgotten a few things!

Oreos (Unusual varieties eg mint, peanut butter, double stuff, reverse oreos)
Paydays
Pecan delights
Junior Mints
Reeces Peanut Butter Cups
Sugar babies
Cheetos!!
Almond Joy
Tootsie Rolls
Twinkies (so bad they're good LOL)

Hope that helps!!

Karen

Karen - Reeses peanut butter cups are available here in the UK, seen them in Asda and Costco;)

Michelle - our nearest Asda is 30 miles away :( and I've never heard of Costco!!

Ypu might want to disregard the Reese's Peanut Buteter Cups though Chip & Dale :)

Thanks Miffy and Squitty!

I will take these lists with me when I go to the store. I know that he will love it. You all have been wonderful to take your time to help me!

Oh No Karen what a shame....sorry didnt know :(
Costco is a huge wholesale warehouse type thing, which is on OBT in FL and also they have a few stores scattered all over the UK. The UK ones do have a small selection of US food/sweets.
Have a look US Costco & UK Costco for more info.

we have a costco in leeds its really good, you have to join to go in though

we are trade members.

those little candy lollys on a wooden stick that look like rock candy are rare here too

How about "Lucky Charms" breakfast cereals do they like those. My DD loves these but they are no longer available in the UK. Also Jelly Belly Jelly Beans - we can these if you order them on the internet but they are ridiculously expensive.

Thanks Michelle!
I will have to have a look for the one at Bristol next time I'm there! Thank you!

It is a pain not having a closer Asda as well!!

Couple of other things for your list that I like and can't get over here:

Three Musketeers bars,
Nestle Crunch bars,
Mountain Dew soda (had it in the UK for a while, but haven't seen it for years),
American Kit Kats (we have Kit Kats in the UK, but US Kits Kats are totally different chocolate),
Fruit Loops breakfast cereal.
